Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I'm really getting tired of trump tweeting "where is the fake whisteblower?" Here's my answer; if he was up your ass, you'd know and if he was in your mouth, you wouldn't ask. Besides that, there is no "fake" whistleblower. How can anyone with any semblance of intelligence support this juvenile dipshit moron?
No one with any semblance of intelligence, patriotism or self-respect does.

I questioned family in Ohio that very thing. Apparently, there are indoor facilities for children to play in Ohio. Thanks for the weather update.
No shit; I was making fun of you for doing it. Also, in case you're not aware, I've been making fun of you in several replies to idiotic posts you've made and will continue to do so as long as you post nonsense or non relevant posts to posts that others have made. Now let's see you make some stupid fucking reply to this; something like where you and your family recently went or how you had a small pony fall through ice on some shithole river in Ohio while you were chasing after Jim Jordan for his autograph or how you saw Dabo Swinney masturbating in a parking lot at Clemson but didn't say anything.

Gotcha.
You still give dogs mouth to mouth too?
The other day I saw a rabbit but it went down a hole. I got upset over it and walked to the store to get some medicine and on the way I saw a guy standing on the corner with his pants down and his member was sticking out in flagrante; as I approached him he asked me if I was 1 cat fan. I had to tell him no but that I knew what he meant and wished him luck.

If I'd had an open beer and a lit joint at the time, he probably would have been less amenable.....but it was early and I had not hit my stride.
Well, you have mentioned to enjoy recreational drugs. Who knows what you and that guy did on that street corner.

Aside:

Speaking of dense cons:
Trump says Ukraine envoy Yovanovitch wouldn't hang his picture. Fact check: There was no official portrait for most of 2017.

... “She wouldn’t hang my picture in the embassy,” Trump said. “She is in charge of the embassy. She wouldn’t hang it. It took like a year and a half or two years to get the picture up. She said bad things about me, she wouldn’t defend me, and I have the right to change an ambassador.”

“This was an Obama person. Didn’t want to hang my picture in the embassy,” the president continued. “Standard is, you put the president of the United States’ picture in an embassy. This was not an angel, this woman, OK?”
 :violin:
... “I was in charge of the US embassy in London for much of Trump’s first year,” Lewis Lukens, former deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in London, tweeted in response to Trump’s comments. “We didn’t hang his picture either. Why? It took the WH almost 15 months to get official photos sent to embassies to hang. And we were instructed not to print other photos.”

A source with Yovanovitch’s legal team gave NBC News a similar explanation: “The Embassy in Kyiv hung the official photographs of the President, Vice President, and Secretary of State as soon as they arrived from Washington, DC.”

Oddly enough, just last night I fired up my all vacuum tube stereo and listened to a few records; one of them was LA Woman, the new 45rpm version of the album that came out a few years ago. It had been raining here and that made me think of "Riders on the Storm" aside from the fact that I'd not heard it in a while. Also took some George Thorogood and Blues Brothers for a spin. :)

  Well, I confess to the beer, but the bourbon and Scotch.....neo don't play that. And thanks for the video; I'd not seen that particular version with Elvin Bishop. Nice. Actually I was listening to a different George Thorogood record but it does have a drinking song on it called "I Drink Alone."

Just finished reading "How to Read the Constitution And Why" by Kim Wehle. There were several references to trump in the book with regard to how he at times tends to disregard this document. A quote under one of the chapter headings I found to be worth sharing; here it is.
"As nightfall does not come all at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged." Justice William O. Douglas

We are very fortunate that 45SHOLE is so damn incompetent.

In a huge blow to Trump, DOJ watchdog found no evidence to support the claim that the FBI spied on his 2016 campaign

We all know that POSPOTUS is a chronic liar and crybaby, but the best part of this is that the moronic wet dreams of millions of tragically gullible Trumpettes just got dashed to pieces.

Riders on the Storm...

As I recall, that music was part of the soundtrack for my years at UC Berkeley. One of the winters we had a very wet season; seemed like the rain would never stop. No car, just a bicycle, so weather was very important. I'd just retreat to my room and put the Doors album on. Near nirvana.

I might have to go ferret out my Doors LP, fire up the stereo system, and let it blast in the current rainstorm (the "Bomb Cyclone").

It was pure twisted genius that only Jim Morrison could conceive.
Buh-Bye, President Plump...

NATO Leaders Challenge Trump to Spell NATO

LONDON (The Borowitz Report)—This year’s summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization began on a discordant note, on Tuesday, after the other twenty-eight NATO leaders challenged Donald Trump to spell NATO.

At a preliminary gathering of the leaders, Trump demanded that the other member nations increase their cash contributions to the alliance, prompting Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, to issue the unexpected and unwelcome spelling challenge.

“We’ll be happy to give more to NATO, Mr. President, if you can spell NATO,” she said, drawing raucous applause from the other leaders.

Handing Trump a pencil and a yellow legal pad, Merkel watched as he struggled to spell the word correctly, crumpling page after page in the effort.

After several failed attempts, Trump finally offered up a drawing of several stick figures standing in a row and asked for “partial credit.”

When the other NATO leaders rejected his request by a 28–0 voice vote, Trump stormed out of the room, vowing never to return.

In a joint communiqué, the NATO leaders said that they were looking forward to spending the rest of the summit watching the impeachment hearings.

I liked them at the time, but did not fully appreciate them while John was still alive. I thought of them as more of a gimmick than real music. My loss.

Yeah, John and Dan did good; a movie and two records; the movie soundtrack which had Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, James Brown, even Cab Calloway; and the "Briefcase Full of Blues" record which was just the Blues Brothers and the Muscle Shoals studio band. Good stuff.
