Wingnutties out of control!

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Did you read Trump's eloquent denunciation of domestic terrorism and the "Michigan Militia"?

What happens when you screech "Fake news" one time too many:
Supporter at right-wing 'Patriot Rally' shot dead after macing a TV security guard at Denver protest

... The security guard was reportedly a contractor for local television station 9News. It later said on its website that it has "been the practice for a number of months to hire private security to accompany staff at protests."

The shooting took place in the courtyard of the Denver Art Museum during a "Patriot Rally" that was met by a group of counter-protesters who called their rally "BLM-Antifa Soup Drive."

According to witnesses at the scene, the supporter participating in the "Patriot Rally" sprayed mace at another man after a verbal altercation, who in return, shot him with his handgun....

Police later tweeted the security guard had no affiliation with Antifa, according to the Post....

Borat 2: The chilling ‘fact’ Trump supporters told Sacha Baron Cohen about Hillary Clinton

Sacha Baron Cohen has revealed the alarming things he was told by two Republicans while filming Borat 2.

The actor, who returns as the comedy creation in a brand new sequel, moved in with a pair of Trump supporters where he had to stay in character for five whole days.

Despite pulling off several high-profile stunts, including a controversial skit involving Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani, Baron Cohen says he found this one most challenging.

Masquerading as Borat, he moved in with two male Republicans, telling them he was in need of a place to stay during the pandemic.

Baron Cohen told The New York Times that these men told him disturbing “facts” they believed about Trump's former political opponent, Hillary Clinton.

One of these conspiracy theories included: “Hillary Clinton drinks the blood of children.”

Speaking about his experience, the actor said: “It was the hardest thing I had to do. I was waking up, having breakfast, lunch, dinner, going to sleep as Borat when I lived in a house with these two conspiracy theorists.”

“You can’t have a moment out of character.” ...
Hidden camera?

Is it really that hard to fool people that believe that Hillary is a vampedo?

I'm wondering why the GOP wingnuts and nutjobs aren't squawking and whining about a "war on Halloween" due to the common sense and logical idea of sort of skipping it this year. But they still have nine days to start whining. I have much faith they will begin squawking over it soon. Whining!

The one good thing is that millions of parents are telling their children that PINO and the Repugs killed the grandparents and then Halloween - an entire generation of future GOP haters.

White House press secretary refers question to the White House
I never thought I'd see the day in which the White House press secretary appeared on national television and referred a question to the White House.

"I haven't spoken to the president about that; that would be a question more for the White House...."

:confusion-scratchheadblue:

Ironic that the question was about "intelligence".

Mississippi lawmaker wants MS to "succeed" from the union.
Hopefully this time the rest of us would just let them go and cut off trade and travel.

Build the wall!!!

His apology does not succeed unless it's also to his English teacher. Anyone surprised that he's a product of MS schools?

Does "poor lack of judgment" mean that he does have judgment?

Funny, he looks smart.

Auto-correct could have given him the "succeed" but he still would have had to mangled "secede" somehow. But yeah, he's certainly a scholarly looking fellow.

I told you all these people were dumbasses. They will never succeed, or secede, until they get educated. And "poor lack of judgement" just illustrates how stupid they are. After all, a lack of judgement cannot be described as "good" or "average" or even "exemplary" except maybe in this case. And a poor lack of judgement just doesn't exist.

Wow.
Cori Bush

Cori Anika Bush (born July 21, 1976) is an American politician, registered nurse, pastor, and activist from St. Louis, Missouri, who is the Democratic Representative-elect for Missouri's 1st congressional district. On August 4, 2020, she defeated 10-term incumbent Lacy Clay in the 2020 U.S. House of Representatives primary election, advancing to the November general election in the solidly Democratic congressional district. Bush is the first African-American woman to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives from Missouri....

Antivaxer gets his meme shot point-blank

This doctor invented a conspiracy theory to convince an anti-vaxxer mum to vaccinate her child

... The attending physician listened quietly to the woman's fantasies before suddenly interjecting with:
Have you considered the possibility that anti-vaccine propaganda could be an attempt by the Russians or the Chinese to weaken the health of the United States population?
The mother appeared completely floored by the suggestion. Or, as _Haliax_ described it:
In a moment of catastrophic cognitive dissonance, I swear I heard a strange popping noise as her brain misfired. It actually broke her.
Totally persuaded by such cunning deployment of reverse psychology, the parent eventually agreed to a modified vaccine schedule.

The narrator concludes by saying:
To this day I’m not sure the medical ethics of the situation are totally palatable, but goddamn the result was amazing!

A group of incoming GOP House members, calling themselves the 'Freedom Force,' are trying to counter Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's 'Squad'

... includes Reps.-elect Nicole Malliotakis of New York; Maria Elvira Salazar of Florida; Michelle Steele of California; Stephanie Bice of Oklahoma; Victoria Spartz of Indiana; Burgess Owens of Utah; and Carlos Giménez and Byron Donalds, both of Florida....
:D Even the "ridiculous ... think they're in high school" Freedom Force won't allow NC11's Madison Cawthorn into their clubhouse.

How do members of the party that has done more suppression and rights violations than anybody in the last hundred years get to call itself "Freedom Force"? Freedom for or from whom?

Marketing and self-delusion.

Trump reportedly derailed a GOP meeting about the Georgia Senate runoffs by praising QAnon
