Jerry Jones has a new puppet. How bout' them Cowboys!
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will be unemployed soon, Jerry can hire her as a cheerleader.
Would she then be recognized as a Cowgirl?

It's a bleak day in Beantown. And sympathy south of the MA state line is probably scarcer than Skittles in the Brady kids' lunch box.
Nice metaphor  .
That was fast! Told ya, see the username.

Minnesota @San Francisco. Go 49ers, but I don't hate the Vikings.
San Francisco is favored by 6.5 7.

8:15 PM ET CBS
Tennessee @ Baltimore. Ravens all the way!
Baltimore is favored by 9.5!

Sunday, January 12, 2020

3:05 PM ET CBS
Houston @Kansas City. Go Houston, silence that chant.
Kansas City is favored by 9.5. Too much, I think, but maybe that's my bias.

6:40 PM ET FOX
Seattle @Green Bay. Go 'Hawks! But I don't hate the Packers.
Green Bay is favored by 4 4.5. Standard homefield advantage +1 +1.5 seems reasonable.

Yeah, that sucked. The one silver lining was that my power was out so I could only listen on the radio and didn't have to watch the misery.

“This team’s identity right now is get in the playoffs and choke."
-- Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey

Ouch.

I'm no TN fan, but you gotta hand it to 'em - beating both the Pats and Ravens at home is one for the history books whatever else they do.

Then, there's Derrick Henry - rushing for 195 yards after 180 last week, the first player with two games of 175 rushing yards or more in the same postseason, set the postseason single-game rushing record for the Titans in consecutive weeks, most yards rushing through his first four postseason games at 561, beating Hall of Famer Terrell Davis and Arian Foster who were tied with 515 through their first four, AND he threw the first TD pass by a running back in the playoffs since 1987.

I think the announcer said it was his first pass thrown since Jr High.

I will root for TN vs KC, not sure vs Houston.

Go NFC!

Momentum shifting.....this could be a good one!

(No horse in this one, but I'm kind of rooting for KC. Andy Reid deserves a ring!)

Crap, Houston down just 4 at the half, but it feels like they've lost.

Mahomes - 4 TD tosses in the 2nd quarter. Last time a QB did that in one quarter in the playoffs - Doug Williams for DC back when I still was a fan, 1987 SB.

This game - highest scoring 1st half ever in the playoffs, 28-24 KC.

SF > GB. I don't hate GB, but I'll try to a little bit for you.

Vegas missed every game or margin big time, except GB beat the spread by just 0.5.

Tight ends with 3 receiving TD in a playoff game since 1950:

• KC Travis Kelce (2019 Div Rd)

• NE Rob Gronkowski (2011 Div Rd), future HOF

• Oak David Casper (1977 Div Rd), HOF
• first team in NFL history to take a halftime lead after trailing by 24 points.

I'm 2-2 wild card round, 1-3 division round, ugh.

Panthers hire LSU's Joe Brady, that was extremely fast.
