Niners were great today....
SDSU has an SB connection . . . thanks to getting crushed:

This was cool - SF coach Kyle Shanahan, son of former SB Denver coach, Mike Shanahan, being interviewed by game announcer Joe Buck, son of deceased SB sportscaster Jack Buck.

The 100 Years of the NFL tribute was pretty cool.

Here's the best article I've ever read complaining about use of indigenous North American peoples' imagery. Chiefs may be in for more trouble than just the 49'ers since their headdresses and chop will be on international display.

I agree, thanks. At least it won't be a home crowd in Miami, and some of the locals hate that same FSU chant. Hopefully, SF will shut down the chanters early.
It's there pregame, crap.

Irony: Colin Kaepernick made the SB more jingoistic than ever  .

So far, it's looking like a good game.

I am of course rooting for the Niners. And I confess I haven't seen the Chiefs play all season.

But watching first few possessions today, I was reminded of something a local Raiders fan told me about ten years ago. He said the Raiders' main antagonists were the Chiefs. Now, since the Raiders were known for playing an very aggressive style game, it occurs to me that the Chiefs must be as well. And it showed early in the first quarter of this Superbowl. How it will play out by the 4th I have no idea. The Niners don't seem to be a finesse only team. And the Chiefs don't seem to be a team of thugs. But still...

I enjoyed the halftime show. Both can still sing great and the choreography was exciting throughout. The sound wasn’t great, but I don’t know what the challenges are to make it good for a stadium and TV.

Shakira is as hot as ever. Then 50 year-old JLo matched her - she pole danced!

I also like the guy that did a duet with JLo, and the girls choir and its lead singer.

NFL Las Vegas Odds

Kansas City -1 > SF
https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/

Doesn't get much tighter than that.
Now Kansas City -1.5, some huge bets were placed on it this week.

Predictions?
Prize: 364 days of bragging rights.

Me: SF by 10.
2:35 left in the 3rd, SF 20, KC 10, just sayin' .

Niners got out played.

On the bright side, Adam Ruins the Superbowl (he says it never features the best teams anyway).

I even checked to see if it was a brilliant hoax. Nope, he really tweeted that, now corrected WITHOUT any admission of the screw up, of course.

Ok Trump worshippers, pull out your Sharpies! You got a lot of explaining to do.

JLO's daughter Emme Super Bowl LIV performance has us SHOOK!

Can you imagine, at that age, with your superstar mom, with Shakira on drums, at the freakin' Superbowl!

That would sure cement my divorce from the LAS VEGAS Raiders.
