Anybody here a David Wilcox fan?

I got familiar with his music back in the late 80's early 90's when I heard his Big Hit, "High on a Hurricane". Even caught him at a couple of concerts in the SF Bay Area. He sort of went evangelical for a bit, lost interest, but then he came back with more non-sectarian music. His lyrics were great.

Thoughts? I'm sure some of you who hail from the Asheville area must have heard of him... he did, after all, write a song about a hardware store there...
