Did you ever see that quote in context? On every PPO/HMO type insurance plan there has ever been, you can "keep your doctor" if that doctor remains on the plan. But plans change their provider lists, providers don''t renew their participation, yada, and next thing you know you don't get to "keep your doctor."

But yeah, Obama wasn't clear, didn't add in the qualifier, and left himself open to criticism from those who tired of trying to find his birth certificate. But even if Obama knew a lot of people would have to change providers, and wanted to intentionally mislead, that's still a far cry from what we've all grown accustomed to out of the current administration.
