RIP, dear Michael Fain
He will be missed. I so much enjoyed getting reacquainted on the old T-N forum.
He died Monday of pancreatic cancer. <sigh>

Sad. I didn't know him personally, but I surely did enjoy watching him spear Foolgle.

Very sad. I too only knew him from the BRN forums. He usually held his own and better
against the nutters. When I first joined, he was quite active, then he posted less
frequently over the years. Whether that had to do with his health or not, I don't know.
Lifelong Democrat. Yes that was pretty obvious. Cheers Michael.

Re: RIP, dear Michael Fain
His Facebook page is full of condolences. If you'd like, I could post it there. You could leave a message on the funeral home page- he'd get a kick knowing screen names were leaving condolences.
His last post on Facebook was October 19. It was a thing about Romney's "binder" via Emily's List.
His address shouldn't be too hard to find. Orky once posted a google earth shot of Mike's house. Talk about somebody obsessed with MF, it was he.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Christ Church, PO Box 25778, Raleigh, NC 27611-5778. Gifts will be distributed to Habitat for Humanity and the Clark Grew Help for Homeless.
It is actually the Clark Grew Health for Homeless

Same here. I had noticed he wasn't posting recently.neoplacebo wrote:I remember Fain from the old forum. Sad and sorry to hear of his passing.
I suppose that, in line with his beliefs that he's "Movin' on up to the big time...." I hope so.

It's too bad Mike want find any cons to slam up there. I won't go further with that thought...
He will be missed and he was the only person as far as I know who knew my identity outside of the TN forum. He drove by my house one day and we both lamented on the judgement of some on the old forum. He was a very good person with compassion in his heart. He had a terrible disease and I have another friend that has been fighting it for one year. Rest in Peace Mike Fain.
