Am I a Pilot Officer?
That's what it says under where my name appears on the forum.
It says "Pilot Officer". So first of all, what is that, a pilot officer?
And secondly, if I don't want to be one of them after I find out
what it is, how do I get it changed? Rather than that, I've got my
new title. I'd rather be listed as a "Swaddling Clothier". No rush.
Thanks.

I bet the enlisted wouldn't like me less as one of them.
"Pilot Officer" sounds so weak and wishy washy, like
second understudy or seventh violin. I guess I could
just take a bit part and build it up. I've done it before.

I don't know how the titles are assigned or by whom, nor according to wut parameters.
I'm not quibbling with mine; if it was accurate it couldn't be posted in a family forum.
"Pilot Officer"? I have feelings, you know. Feelings.
But do you care? No, not as long as you get to use the officers' latrine.

Hey, I earned my rank. It was bestowed by O Really after years of getting right-wingers to obsessively detest me, with one even going so far as to stalk and threaten me irl.
It's not up to me, but you could also end up as Pilot Lite, the thin, tasteless variety of pilot, or Pilot Whale, an unfortunate commentary on your physique.
