He's like a piece of aluminum siding dangling from the long side of a single wide mobile home that flaps in the wind and makes a lot of noise for no apparent benefit to anyone. The sound is not unlike two skeletons fucking on a tin roof.

Navy: Sailor contacted Russians, pleads guilty to espionage
https://www.blueridgenow.com/zz/news/20 ... -espionage

Neither Kellogg nor his lawyers could be immediately reached for comment.

“This sailor’s attempts to disclose classified Navy nuclear propulsion information posed a significant threat to national security and endangered the lives of American service members,” FBI Special Agent in Charge Garrett Waugh said in a statement.
Though Kellogg pleaded guilty to two counts of violating the Espionage Act, his military defense attorneys told the judge at Naval Base San Diego before his sentencing that he was not a spy but rather had a drinking problem and may have been suffering from depression.

1 man dead, 11 people wounded in Minneapolis shooting
https://www.blueridgenow.com/zz/news/20 ... shooting/1
Floyd’s death has sparked a move to overhaul the Minneapolis Police Department, with a majority of City Council members pledging support for dismantling a department that many community activists have called brutal and racist. That’s prompted pushback from opponents who question how citizens will be protected from violent crime. Even the most aggressive proponents for change have acknowledged it’s many months away and they’re not sure what it will look like.

The injured were all adults, the police release said.

Do you think this has some special meaning? What's the point? The sailor was convicted on two counts and sentenced to I think three years confinement. Whatever information he shared with foreigners was likely not significant and probably not classified any higher than "Secret." Having been in the Navy, I know that reactor operators do not have detailed information on how the reactors are designed. The Navy trains all nuclear propulsion staff on procedures for safe operation of the reactors. The sailors on the ships do NOT have intimate knowledge of the design of the reactor; only how it operates, how much power it generates, etc. Now if someone at Westinghouse nuclear department gave out design and engineering data on the reactors or drawings, that would be much more serious. John Walker will never get out of prison for giving Russia cryptographic data.....not sure about his buddy Jerry Whitworth or his son; they all got severe prison terms. This is a minor incident as the sentence confirms. Did you have a nice time in Tulsa? I bet you had a good seat. How many times did you gush in awe over lies and false bragging from the raccoon eyed buffoon? Quite a long journey just for the chance to gush in awe over a pathological liar.

Relax; once everyone in the country has fully automatic military style weapons, there will be no need for any civilian (socialist) police departments. But, here again, what I've been trying to tell you all along is that some people will take advantage of any situation (riot, fire, power outage, little lulu, fart storms, etc.) that affords them more of a chance to commit their crime without consequence. I don't understand why you don't grasp this. Oh, wait.....yes, I Do see why you don't get it. You're one of those cultists who hate their country. sad

NC lieutenant governor to sue over Cooper’s COVID-19 orders
https://www.blueridgenow.com/news/20200 ... -19-orders
North Carolina Republican Lt. Gov. Dan Forest informed Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper Thursday that he intends to sue over the way Cooper has imposed business restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Court sides with health officials over opening of NC speedway
https://www.blueridgenow.com/news/20200 ... c-speedway
A North Carolina stock car racetrack must remain closed and propose a new social distancing plan after a judge sided with health officials in an effort to curb the coronavirus spread.

A crowd of roughly 2,000 attended a race on June 6, when the speedway posted a sign saying the race was being held “in peaceful protest of injustice and inequality everywhere.”

Cooper issued an executive order Wednesday requiring people to wear face coverings in public when it’s not possible to maintain physical distance.

Just like with peaceful protesters, or anything else, you seize on one aspect of something and crow about its significance. This Kellogg guy fucked up, broke the law, needs to be punished. What else is there to say about it? I say again; what he did is insigificant. John Walker spied for the USSR for decades, did tremendous damage, and cost the nation untold billions to change their naval communications tactics. And remember, during times of civil protest, criminals (you know, people who were criminals before the civil protest came around) will take fierce advantage of those conditions to commit crimes they might not otherwise commit. But throughout it all, you can still be a victim. And you will be.

You have to feel bad for the guy, you can relate to one of his behavioral issues, quite possibly both.

You still miss the point. A second class petty officer is not in a position to know very much high security nuclear propulsion information. He is likely just a machinist mate who happens to work in the reactor plant and thinks he knows more than he actually does.....sort of like you.

Plus, this bozo is a drunk, had been out of the Navy for 2 years, had no documents or other classified info besides his memory, and had left his passport at home when he tried to fly to NY. Hence, the lightest "espionage" sentence I've ever head of.

I wonder how the evangelicals and fundamentalists will take Israel kicking GOD-TV off the air. Hey, cat pan, this is an example of censorship. Read it and weep. More Christian victims.

Good thing he wasn't a Navy pilot.

Pickle Rick damn right......if he'd been a Navy pilot (naval aviator) none of this would have happened since the US has no nuclear powered planes. He very will could have engaged in his drinking as a naval aviator, though. And he likely would not have suffered depression; naval aviators are not known for having depression but more likely an inflated sense of themselves.

Fewer Israeli Jews will bow down to Jesus now, opps.

After 2000 years only about 29% of the world adhere to one of the many many sects of Christianity. Maybe it's time for Jesus to hire a new PR firm that will do a better job on broad-based appeal and consistency of messaging.
