I once had a rather intense relationship with a woman named Karen. It lasted about three months. She never did any crazy shit like this but I just knew all along she was capable of it. All this was more than twenty years ago; like I said, I knew it was going to happen.

My ex girlfriend was a Karen in the making. 100%.
Let us both engage in mutual celebration at our fortuitous escape.

Damn, the world would be a little bit better place if this had been true:
Patricia McCloskey would later tell Fox News host Sean Hannity that protesters said “they were going to kill us … going to burn down the house, that they were going to be living in our house after I was dead. They pointed to different rooms and said that’s gonna be my bedroom, that’s gonna to be the living room and I’m gonna be taking a shower in that room ….”
... St. Louis police on Friday executed a search warrant at the home of a local lawyer and seized a semiautomatic AR-15 rifle that he pointed at Black Lives Matter protesters last month, according to media reports.
Mark McCloskey, and his wife, Patricia McCloskey, who work together as personal injury attorneys, were captured on video brandishing guns as demonstrators walked past their palatial home on June 28. While critics called for their arrest, the two were embraced as heroes by gun lovers after the video went viral.
“We complied with the search warrant. They took my AR,” Mark McCloskey told the conservative Todd Starnes radio show. “I’m absolutely surprised by this.”
The cops "invaded" their home.
The couple told police Friday that the pistol Patricia McCloskey brandished was with their lawyer, sources told NBC affiliate KSDK-TV.
The couple’s attorney, Joel Schwartz, confirmed to the TV station that a warrant was issued for a search of their home Friday night. Schwartz said he has no idea where the handgun is. He hopes to meet with a prosecutor next week....
That sounds like someone is illegally evading a lawful search warrant. Time for a more thorough and disruptive search.

I was very tempted to write something similar but not as nice.
I'm lazy, so I just settled for her hysterical words.
At the back of my property is a 10 foot tall chain link fence. On the other side is a five foot drop (held up with a concrete retaining wall), and then a condo development on a former industrial (light mfg) site. The condo owners have let English Ivy grow rampant on the chain link fence, which is nice for privacy but it is an invasive weed. I have to trim my side at least once a year. They never trim their side. The Karen who runs the condo mgmt refuses to hire anyone to take care of it.
Along another eight foot tall fence (chain link of course) that runs about 50 feet on the other side of the property adjacent to the condos, I planted some shade trees 20 years ago. They got tall and some branches were starting to weigh on the top of the fence. So, I trimmed them back as well as I could, and some branches wound up falling onto their side of the property line.
While I was out there tending to business the Karen who apparently runs the condo association came by and started threatening to sue over the fallen branches. I informed her that the law would be that technically the branches were her responsibility and if she neglected to take care of them it wasn't my fault. She got more and more angry, until she learned that I am the property owner. Apparently she thought I was some hired help. Her attitude changed 180 degrees and I arranged to where I could drive my van over there and pick up any fallen branches.
Oh, and they still refuse to trim the ivy on their side. Periodically it tries to form tree like structures on top of the chain link, and I have to go up there to remove them. Sometimes they fall over to the condo side. Am I going to do anything about that? Fuck no. Also, since they don't do any trimming, the ivy flower and then forms berries that the birds eat and then crap all over the place, creating new ivy starts to further the invasion. Plus the ivy gets so heavy the chain link fence starts to sag over towards their side. I have wondered if I could just spray some "Ground Clear" at the base of the tall chain link fence from my side to kill the ivy on both sides. It's tempting...
You could plant some Japanese knotweed. It will smother out the ivy. It's invasive and terribly so, but we'll worry about that when it becomes a problem.
