Cool eighth: Altuve tries to hit another over-the-wall homer, but it falls just short, and Rosario does a spectacular catch to close the inning. Braves still ahead, 3-2 as it goes into the ninth.

9th inning: No runs for the Astros, Braves win game 3-2, and now lead the series 3-1. Cool.

On to the fifth and perhaps the last game in the 2021 World Series.

Game 5, top of 3rd inning: Braves 4, Astros 2.

Spoke too soon. Astros still up at the top of the 3rd, scored twice, now even at 4-4, two outs. Cool.

We'll see if the Braves can up their count in the bottom.

Bottom of 3rd, Freeman homers deep into stands, score now 5-4, Braves.

There goes that annoying tomahawk chop and chant again. I like the Braves but they really need to rethink that shit.

9-5 Astros, at top of 8th inning.

Looks like the Braves will be playing in Texas next week.

The good news is that we won't be hearing much if any more Tomahawk chants during the next two games.

Third inning, Game Six, Soler hits a homer and drives in three runs. Score 3-0, Braves.

Top of fifth inning, another Braves homer, score now 6-0.

Texas be saying, "Opps"...

Top of 7th, Freeman homers, score now 7-0 Braves.

Manager for the Astros is Dusty Baker, who is a familiar name in the SF Bay Area. He managed the SF Giants for ten years, until 2002.

And Braves win it by the end of the 9th inning, 7-0.

Didn't realize it from watching the games, but watching the game victory congratulations Soler was dwarfing his teammates. Soler is a bit of a giant: 6'4", 215 lbs, power hitter. Interesting history, as well. Born in Havana, Cuban boy makes good.

Congrats to Soler and the Atlanta Braves on an excellent world series.
