Ex-Trump Aide Stephen Miller Subpoenaed In DOJ's Jan. 6 Probe: Report
Miller, along with former White House political director Brian Jack, reportedly received subpoenas as part of an investigation into a Trump super PAC.

... Miller, along with ex-White House political director Brian Jack, is reportedly among a group of more than a dozen people linked to Trump that received federal grand jury subpoenas this week.

Several “junior and mid-level” aides who worked for Trump in the White House and for his presidential bid also received subpoenas, The Times reported earlier this week.

The subpoenas derive from a federal grand jury inquiry into Trump’s Save America PAC – formed shortly after the 2020 election – and whether or not the group defrauded contributors of their money by using false claims about the election, a source with knowledge of the subpoenas told CNN.

The Save America PAC has reportedly raised over $103 million, according to OpenSecrets.org, a nonprofit that tracks political contributions and spending.

The subpoenas are also looking for information on the alleged plan for electors to be sent to swing states to overturn the results of the election, the Times noted.

Some subpoenas asked for information provided to the Jan. 6 committee related to “communications recipients may have had” with people who attempted to overturn the election such as Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Victoria Toensing, CNN found....

Why is it that an obscure congress critter can get more press for saying she's not a Dem than somebody who actually does something worthwhile? It's not new, but there's no difference in politics and entertainment and issues or capability no longer matter. The terms "Hell" and "handbasket" come to mind.

Since August or so, we've endured political ads for a variety of candidates for office in Congress, Governor, and state-level positions through several jurisdictions. As far as I can recall, not one - not ONE of them actually focused on any issue reasonably within the control of the candidate. They may mention issues that concern people - gas prices/inflation, homeless, immigration, crime, yada, but NEVER offer any actual suggestions for solution even though everybody "has a plan" and "will fight" to save the planet from zombies. To think that some back-bench House member is going to have ANY impact on gas prices or homeless in Seattle is ridiculous on its face.

So, why only the single federal charge? No state or local charges, no false police report, no arson? What about damage to uniforms from fire - from smoke?
