I have said that trump probably can't be convicted due to at least one maga juror willing to lie to get on the jury and then ignoring the evidence to claim trump's innocence, but not to explain merrick's maga-love or cowardness or whatever prevented him from doing his job for over a year. It wasn't until the 1/6 committee became vocal about him doing absolutely nothing that he began to show some effort culminating in his passing it off to someone else.

As I've been saying for at least 18 months, merrick is all maga. I'm glad to see others begin to accept this. He pretends with little tidbits that the media eats it up. He did zero, squat until the House started poking him and then he drug out pretend investigation, which mostly involved requesting the unfinished House investigation.
