How is this a home game since no tickets are available and the crowd is mostly hostile bammers?

Oh, and it's not a 2 hour drive, more like 4 with traffic.
:D , even vs Iowa? Baaad bammers! AUB -1.5. Go Hawkeyes.

The article I quoted and the others I read appear to be wrong.
The four games have 2 sets of tickets. Maryland game and bammer game on one and Auburn game and Houston game on the other

I just heard that gun guy Miller scored a grand total of zero today and fouled out without his ba.mer refs.

Son says Maryland next. Go Maryland, embarrass them with a 40 point beat-down.

Under the category of things I just learned today, and the category of things I wish I hadn't learned, the UNC Athletic Director is named "Bubba Cunningham." "Bubba"? Seriously? WTF grown man calls himself "Bubba"? And how does a guy who lets people call him "Bubba" ever get a job better than street sweeper, much less athletic director, golfer, or race car driver.

Bubba is a righteous nickname in the South, although mostly sports guys, we had a Bubba as president and he was a pretty good one too. And who can forget Bubba the Love Sponge Clem, radio talk show host and Bubba Sparxxx (born 1977), Southern rapper.
There was Leatherface, or Bubba Sawyer, from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Benjamin Buford "Bubba" Blue, in the 1994 film Forrest Gump and of course there was Bubba Bo Bob Brain, Brain's fictitious country music star persona from a Pinky and the Brain segment on the U.S. cartoon series Animaniacs.
And many more
Bubba Watson (born 1978), PGA Tour golfer
Bubba Brooks (1922-2002), American jazz tenor saxophonist
Charles "Bubba" Chaney (born 1946), Louisiana politician
Bill Clinton (born 1946), 42nd President of the United States
Merald "Bubba" Knight (born 1942), soul singer, member of Gladys Knight & the Pips

Lots good ol' Bubbas

Wanna try Clem, I bet Wikipedia has some Clems

Well, I don't know that many on that list of Bubbas is somebody you'd want your kid to emulate.

Did Bill Clinton ever really call himself Bubba, or was that just a derogatory jab by his (many) detractors?

Moms and other family members and friends can call each other whatever they want or can get away with. And sometimes they're not all that nice. But that's different from somebody going out to interview for a 6 figure job and introducing himself as "Poo Pants Jones"

Yeah, I never understand why, with a perfectly decent name of Richard, Rich, Rick one would call himself Dick. I don't mind nicknames, but c'mon, pick a manly name - not one that you'd give an 8-year old. Seems "James" is a good name by itself, but if not, "Jim" is a real adult's name. Somehow, "You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off that old lone ranger
And you don't mess around with Jimmy"

Just doesn't work.
