Or maybe it referenced a cartoon from long ago showing two pigs in a sex act, "Makin' Bacon". I'd think the "Physicians Committee of Responsible Medicine" might have more important issues to deal with. But a glance at their website would indicate otherwise. https://www.pcrm.org/
May be a good organization, but I don't see much about "responsible medicine" - mainly just another vegan site.

I don't know about other collegiate summer league names, but maybe they could also find some objectionable references in the minor league teams:

Think about all that "glorification of unhealthy food" done by the Montgomery Biscuits.

Green Bay (meat)Packers?
Denver Nuggets? ;)
Dallas Wings?

They've got another target:

USDA’s Dairy Ad Featuring Aubrey Plaza Violates Federal Laws, Physicians’ Complaint Alleges

Introducing Wood Milk: Aubrey Plaza's Newest Product #drinkwoodmilk

 The lawsuit may be legit re USDA’s sponsorship, but the ad is hilarious.

Heresy in NC:
North Carolina Pediatrician and Other Medical Experts Urge School District to Shut Down “Pig Rig” Smoker
Burke County Campaign Included Expert Testimony and Mobile Billboard

Image

MORGANTON, N.C. — Experts from the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a Washington, D.C.-based national health advocacy organization, joined a North Carolina pediatrician in speaking at Burke County Public Schools board meeting on Monday to urge officials there to stop serving students smoked meat cooked on a mobile propane grill.

The Morganton district debuted the $33,000 smoker, dubbed the “Pig Rig” by students, on Feb. 7, 2023....
Tbh, the campaign may be factual and righteous and it may be inappropriate for a school district to promote smoked meats, but that doesn't mean that the activism will be popular or successful.

More from the PCRM press center. I probably agree with many of their stances, for example:
Student Sues School District for Free Speech Violation for Silencing Her Criticism of Cow’s Milk
On heels of lawsuit, federal legislation is being introduced to remove barriers to access nondairy milks at school

... Williamson, a senior at Eagle Rock High School, was told by her school that she could not share information about plant-based milk or critical of the dairy industry in the school cafeteria unless she provided pro-dairy content as well.

“Our school is riddled with pro-dairy posters and promotions,” Williamson said. “The fact that a differing perspective from a student was shut down goes to show that the USDA is more focused on milk sales than the well-being of students. This lawsuit was the only way to make people aware of how wrong this is.” ...

Don't say that, I love and eat oysters any way they're prepared.
