Somebody, and it might have been me, said:
Not everybody is going to like a braggart like Neon Deion, but he is what he is, and has been since getting to FSU. Difference though in a "sham" like the article painted is that he has delivered on his boasts everywhere he's been.
Somebody might like to reconsider.
:D "Somebody" may yet be correct. Still Deion's first year. I'll give him the 2 or 3 years I think every coach deserves, even if his mouth is outrunning his team so far. In 2020 (Covid), his first year at Jackson State, he was 4–3, 3–2.

Good thing, 21-49

10:30 PM FS1
Colorado (4-6) > @Washington State (4-6, -4.0)
 I like CO and I applaud WSU's loyalty. This game will end one team's Bowl hopes :( . CO is likely to lose next week @22 Utah. However, WSU is certain to lose @5 WA. So, go Buffaloes.
Not looking good halfway through the 3rd, 7-42. Ohhh, Deion :( Probably neither team gets a Bowl
14-56, humiliating :problem:

EDIT: Task #1 is beef up the O-line.
Colorado QB Sanders forced off with apparent injury vs. WSU

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders exited in the second quarter of the Buffaloes' 56-14 loss to Washington State after suffering an apparent arm or wrist injury.

Sanders was initially hurt on the Buffaloes' second series of the game on a play where he was sacked and fumbled before Brennan Jackson returned it 40 yards for a WSU touchdown. The injury sidelined him for the next series, but he returned for the following one -- a three-play touchdown drive, capped by a 45-yard strike to Travis Hunter.

Sanders played two more series but was slow to get up after getting sacked on third down and was replaced again by backup Ryan Staub. He did not return to the game....

Shedeur Sanders came into the game as the most sacked quarterback in the country (48), and the combination of a porous offensive line and his tendency to hang on to the ball were problematic again. He was sacked four times in the first quarter and Staub was sacked once after coming in....
0-1 this week.

Too many crushing details for me to excerpt.

Be a good Catholic, misogynist Jim, confess!

We disagree.
This was a well-funded multi-year, multi-person, multi-campus conspiracy to cheat and then cover it up.
One coach has already been fired and ringleader Stalions certainly will be, too. More to come?
The cheating could not have been effective without Harbaugh and others knowing that it was going on.
Even Michigan is so abashed that it has given up on opposing the investigation and punishment.
Plus, Jim Harbaugh is a dick. :)
Mountains!

Agreed, Jim Harbaugh is a dick.
Considering that other teams also stole Michigan's signals, how much difference do you suppose it really made, if any.

In-game sign stealing happens, there's no way to prevent it. Are you saying that other schools had a national operation to steal Michigan's signals before their games were played?

"difference" is impossible to assess, but Michigan is 10-0 and 1st in the Big Ten-East. Instead, punishment should be based on the fact of the cheating and the resources put into it rather than the more nebulous impact.

"Michigan has submitted evidence to the Big Ten alleging that Ohio State, Rutgers and Purdue shared information about the Wolverines' signals ahead of the Big Ten Championship Game in 2022, according to ESPN"

Maybe theirs wasn't a "national operation" - maybe it didn't happen. I don't know. But I'll bet if you give Michigan everybody else's signals upfront, but make them play with SDSU '23 roster they're not gonna be 10-0.

Would it be mountains if it was Southwest Iowa State?
Would anybody have cared if it was the A's stealing signals instead of Astros?
Would anybody care if somebody let a little air out of Zach Wilson's balls?

Fine, if we KNOW that massive cheating has been ineffective people will care a little less and there's no reason to discuss postseason penalties. What's your point? It is Michigan, the Astros and Brady that were caught.

I suppose my point is that we don't know if Zach Wilson uses soft balls because nobody cares what he does. And probably if the A's got caught, people would just laugh and add that to their list of incompetencies. People don't really care about some fine-print rule technicality. They care about bringing down the big dogs.

If they ever go after John Harbaugh or Steve Kerr for cheating maybe I'll defend their "fine-print rule technicality." ;)

Washington court puts temporary pause on control of Pac-12

The Washington State Supreme Court issued a temporary stay of Tuesday's preliminary injunction that was set to grant control of the Pac-12 board of directors to Oregon State and Washington State on Monday.

The court's ruling came a day after the University of Washington, working on behalf of the ten schools set to depart the Pac-12 at the end of the academic year, filed an emergency motion to stay Tuesday's ruling and extend a temporary restraining order that had been in place since September. That TRO prevents any board action without unanimous consent of the 12 current members....
Boo-hiss.

Ahem, I was saying that before he left RW xtian Liberty. Who knew that New Mexico State has a football team? Bet it hurts even more that WDE was favored by 25.5. 31-10 Final, ouch. Good thing you've already locked up a Bowl.

Don’t tell Sabin.
It was all a ploy to get the banners to drop their guard.
