True that. And when they do the lines will be awful. I'm guessing they'll have to do some sort of reservation system.

Bad dog, baaad!
Dog accidentally turns on stove and sets fire to home

Colorado Springs Fire Department has released video footage of the moment a curious dog started a house fire by accidentally switching on a stovetop.

The fire was extinguished by the homeowner before crews arrived after being alerted by their HomePod device which sent them a "High Heat" notice.

The homeowner was treated for smoke inhalation, but no other injuries to people or pets were reported.

SLO County cyclist thought a mountain lion attacked him. Here’s what it actually was
Spoiler:
A reported mountain lion attack in Arroyo Grande turned out to be not quite so dramatic when wildlife officers determined a feline that jumped from a tree onto a cyclist was not in fact a cougar.

It was a domestic house cat....

Wildlife officers investigated the incident and sent DNA samples of the victim’s clothing and bicycle helmet to the department’s Wildlife Forensic Laboratory in Sacramento for genetic testing, according to the report.

Foy said lab technicians started analysis on Sunday.

By the next morning, lab results came back not with evidence of a cougar, but domestic cat DNA instead.

“Mountain lion DNA was not detected on any of the samples,” Foy said.
 His buddies will never let him live it down.
... The ultimate outcome makes sense given that a person is 1,000 times more likely to be struck by lightning than attacked by a mountain lion, according to the Fish and Wildlife website.

Only 24 mountain lion attacks on humans have been reported since 1984. The majority of incidents were nonfatal, although in four cases in El Dorado, San Diego and Orange counties, victims died....

If you encounter a cougar, try to appear larger and more aggressive and never bend or crouch down....
How am I going to pick up rocks to throw at it?

I think they're grizzlies. It looks like mama has a shoulder hump and it was filmed by "wildlife naturalist guide Bo Welden".

I don't think so, the hump isn't pronounced and really only shows when she's bent over and stretched while climbing, the Cubs look very black bearish, she doesn't seem big enough for a grizzly and she walks like a black bear which is different than a grizzly.

Wish the video quality was better.

But I could be wrong.

Any hump = griz.
Size is dependent on age and gender. Plus, we have no standard sized object to use as a comparison. Her potential size range is hundreds of pounds.

My first time seeing one. I popped open the bird house because I've yet to have a tenant. I wanted to see if there were signs of nesting. Turns out I haven't gotten any birds because the bird house has already been claimed. I closed the hatch and let him be. Super cool.

As much as dolphins love to play, I'm half surprised we don't see that more often.
