They guy is much sleazier than most would think. Not that he can't back anybody he wants, but a week ago he was trying to trade a Kamala endorsement for a job with her. At this point, it's hard to believe that his endorsement would mean much. First, because he's a "protest" vote for anybody except maybe the anti-vax crowd, and secondly because his group was already largely anti-Trump. If he's not available to vote for, his potential voters are as likely to sit out or go to Kamala as to Trump.

Best speaker selection and best speakers I've ever seen at a convention. I dunno who wrote the speeches coached the speakers, but everybody was excellent in content and delivery.

In retrospect despite my giddiness, not having a big celeb guest was probably the right call. The attention should have been on Kamala and the RWNJ backlash would have been huge and what we'd be talking about today.
