We all tend to forget how brutal the after effects of football are on the body and brain.

Jaundice.

Cirrhosis is most often the result of heavy drinking. Wiki doesn't say if he was a boozer, but he was busted once for DWI.

Cirrhosis, CTE and Parkinson's all cause dementia

Did the show offer any theory as to why Favre hasn't been charged with anything? Maybe being a sleaze bag isn't illegal in Mississippi?
Sleazy Mississippi lawyers get tossed off of lucrative cases.

Simone Biles Gets Excellent Personal News For Paris Olympics
The gymnast hopes to capture more gold in the Summer Games after a difficult 2021 Olympics.

... Chicago Bears Coach Matt Eberflus confirmed Monday to the Chicago Sun-Times that safety Jonathan Owens, Biles’ husband, is getting time off from training camp to watch her compete in her third Summer Games. The couple married in April 2023.

Owens will miss the Hall of Fame exhibition game against the Houston Texans and several practices between July 29 to Aug. 3 to cheer Biles on.

“We respect the Olympics. That’s a big deal,” Eberflus said, per USA Today. “He’s supporting the one he loves the most. I think that’s so cool that he gets to do that. We welcome that and it’s going to be awesome.”

During his stay in the City of Light, Owens will be able to watch his beloved in the team final on July 30 and the all-around final on Aug. 1.
Nice! GoBears&BilesGo!
... The gymnast, who is also a six-time all-around World Champion, got uncharacteristically personal with fans recently over negative comments directed at Owens over several months.

“Y’all are blatantly being disrespectful to my relationship & my husband,” she wrote on Instagram in May. “So I’m gonna go ahead and say this one time. Respectfully, fuck off.”

“If you keep commenting or tweeting at me I’m just going to block you,” she continued. “Simple as that.”

Congrats. Brett Rypien, nephew of DC's Super Bowl XXVI MVP QB Mark, had a game:
11-15, 166 YDS, 3 TD, 148.9 rating
I don't think he's your QB of the future, though.
NFL career statistics :problem:

Well-deserved honor. God Bless Mongo!
I recently lost a close relative to ALS. It's absolutely brutal, can't think of a worse disease especially for anyone that's active.

McMichael had been holding on and hoping for this honor. Maybe he'll let go now.

Brittany laments "haters" because of the trashing she got for "liking" a Trump post. Brings to mind the question, why do people think they can post stuff supporting a candidate or espousing a political view and not get any social criticism? Sure, their speech is protected from legal consequences, but not societal. Would she have the same "don't hate" tolerance from a person who "liked" the Pedophiles R Us page?

I'm thinking after an "oh fuck!" that Taylor has already called Travis and told him to make sure Mahome's wife doesn't drag them into this.

Will they be sharing a box this season?

She was disliked even by KC fans before this MAGA reveal, I think it was for putting on similarly pretentious airs. 'Childhood issues', 'Jealousy' - Seriously? MAGA sucks for well-defined reasons and most of America, tens of millions of us, think so. Get over yourself.

Social media has changed a lot in interpersonal interaction. Back in the day, people were advised to avoid severely controversial topics like religion and politics or at least try not to get into shouting matches at the backyard barbeque or Thanksgiving dinner. Clearly those rules no longer apply and any comment is now subject to massive trashing. But she should know that.
