Speaking of kickoffs - looks really strange to see them all just standing around watching the guy kick.
Obviously too soon to tell, but I haven't enjoyed the new rules.
If the concern was the number/seriousness of injuries on kickoffs, just stop having kickoffs and place the ball on the 20. This looks like a solution not satisfactory to anyone.

Comment regarding Jordan Love injury - this might help explain why there are still so many Trumpers:
david
The change of hair to corn rows this year brought bad karma. Loss and injury combo. He is not geto based on what I know he should revert back and be himself.
"geto [sic]" Umm . . .
Africa

... Depictions of women with what appear to be cornrows have been found in Stone Age paintings in the Tassili Plateau of the Sahara, and have been dated as far back as 3000 B.C. A similar style is also seen in depictions of the ancient Cushitic people of the Horn of Africa, who appear to be wearing this style of braids as far back as 2000 B.C....
That's older than your mullet, david.
HIs role on the team is a leader. Leaders don't have corn rows.

I would follow Bo anywhere :o ;)

So Kendrick Lamar is headlining the New Orleans Super Bowl.
“Kendrick Lamar is truly a once-in-a-generation artist and performer,” Roc Nation founder Jay-Z said in a statement. “His deep love for hip-hop and culture informs his artistic vision. He has an unparalleled ability to define and influence culture globally. Kendrick’s work transcends music, and his impact will be felt for years to come.”

His 2024 single “Not Like Us,” a diss track aimed at Canadian pop star Drake, was one of the most popular songs of the summer, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also became the fastest rap song to reach 700 million steams on Spotify.
I suppose I should be impressed. Super Bowl has been criticized in the past for being too vanilla, too "family oriented". Probably won't get that criticism this year.

Russell Wilson may be in (more deeper) trouble. With some sort of "calf injury" he's not starting today and Justin Fields appears to be taking advantage of his opportunity. Wilson might be having to earn his job back or wait for Fields to falter.

Decent start, not necessarily good enough to boot Wilson.

First OT this season. Late game, figures. A bunch of East Coast early risers are cursing their TVs.
Edit: That was fast, nice drive. The coin flip meant everything. Lions 26-20

Not a bad start to the season - "Hawks, 'Phins, Iggles, and Bears all won. The team formerly known as 'Skins got pasted. All is good.
If Jasmine's Raiders had done its job and dumped the Traitors, the weekend would have been perfect.

Ouch, the Bills have won 10 of the last 11 vs the 'Phins. Sorry.

Tagovailoa leaves with concussion

Sadly, Tua should probably walk away while he still can. Isn't that at least his third?
