... The Republican presidential nominee’s campaign has diverted resources away from Minnesota, Virginia and New Hampshire – states Trump was boasting he could win while Joe Biden was the Democratic candidate – to focus instead on a small number of battleground states.
Money is being poured into the three “blue wall” states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, which were all carried by Biden in 2020 and are seen as vital to the outcome of November’s election.
Special attention is being paid to Pennsylvania, which has 19 electoral college votes, and where a new CNN poll shows Trump and Harris tied at 47% each.
Resources have also been transferred to southern and south-western Sun belt states – namely North Carolina, Georgia Nevada and Arizona – where Trump previously had healthy leads over Biden that have been whittled away since Harris replaced the US president at the top of the Democratic ticket.
Maga Inc, a Trump-supporting Super Pac, has recently spent $16m in adverts in North Carolina as polls have shown Harris close to drawing even in a state the Democrats carried just once in presidential elections since 1980....

Did they forget Georgia?

North Carolina Lives Matter!
Opps.
Love it when they have to spend resources to defend "red" states.
I read somewhere that DonOld's campaign has Pennsylvania and Georgia as the two purple must win states and are putting their resources there which makes sense as their path to 270 has shrunken considerably.

I don't think Shrub and Condi have been endorsing anyone. Shrub is a gentleman painter and Condi has been on the college football Playoff Selection Committee. I can respect their neutrality. There are plenty of other pubs trashing Dolt .45. Is Mitten voting for Kamala (not that it matters in Utah )?
In one possible future all the MAGAts get held accountable by sane pubs and other Americans I won't hold my breath.
... Bush’s office said on Saturday that neither he nor former First Lady Laura Bush would endorse a candidate or publicly share how they would vote, according to NBC News.
“President Bush retired from presidential politics years ago,” his office stated.
Bush attended Trump’s inauguration after his 2016 win over Hillary Clinton, and reportedly called his speech “some weird s***.”
A spokesperson after that election said that Bush and his wife did not vote for either Trump or Clinton.
He also refused to endorse Joe Biden or Trump in 2020 and told People that he wrote in Condoleezza Rice’s name....
Vance snuck into San Diego for a "private fund-raiser" in Rancho Santa Fe, a 3,000 population of very wealthy white repugs whose median home price is $6.5mil. No other public appearance was made, and no whoop-de-do was made of his being here. I don't know how well attended his begging meeting was, but I think tickets for it started at about $1,000, which for Ranch Santa Fe residents is more like a dinner out with a couple of friends. I'm guessing cheap tickets was the only way to guarantee a crowd.
... The montage of scathing comments from the Republican nominee’s ex-colleagues-turned-critics comes ahead of the former president’s first debate against Harris in Philadelphia. The ad will air in the city as well as in West Palm Beach—where Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort is located—along with a nationwide rollout on Fox News, according to Politico....
