Poor doink-victimized GoCubsGo. :violin:

Pooor prop bettors:
Eagles RB Saquon Barkley's late slide in playoff win stymies bettors

... More bets were placed on Barkley to score a touchdown against the Packers than were placed on any other player in Sunday's three NFL playoff games at multiple sportsbooks....

With Philadelphia leading 22-10 with 1:09 to play, Barkley took a handoff over left tackle and burst through the Packers' defense and into the clear, before electing to slide down after picking up the first down.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts took a knee on the last play to run out the final seconds and secure the win....
Ouch.

I'm 2-1 so far this week.

FWIW,

Concern for Lamar never having played a game in this type of weather while Josh Allen has been the MAN in extreme conditions. This game could be the real Superbowl.

It's never gotten cold in Baltimore or Louisville? Ravens shamed the Bills with Josh Allen playing 35-10 on September 29.

Oh no, I'm rooting against Caitlin Clark, too. Their combined womanstar power may be too much to overcome. They've already deflected a FG and a PAT and Travis is having a good game after an okay season. 12-13 KC in the 3rd. :problem:

Ugh, :bs: Mahomes "slide", :bs: "roughness" penalty.
Double ugh, chant and chop into the 4th. :ateeth:

EDITS: Mr Swiftie - 9th career 100 yd game, passing Jerry Rice. :-|| dammit, then a TD, 18 for Mahomes-Mr Swiftie in the playoffs is also a record. 12-20, with a ref assist. :problem:

It's also Stroud's coldest game ever, pro or college, 21 °F.

No, No, No, No No, No, No, NoNo, No, No, No No, No, No, NoNo, No, No, No

One among many:
Sources: Bears' trade request for Mike Tomlin rebuffed by Steelers

... But in the eyes of some sources, Chicago deserves credit for at least making the call. The Bears recognized the type of leader and coach Tomlin is, and in an effort to exhaust all possibilities, they reached out to the Steelers.

Even without Tomlin in the mix, the Bears have cast a wide net in their head coaching search.

The Bears already have completed head coaching interviews with interim head coach Thomas Brown, former Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, former Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy, Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing, former Commanders head coach Ron Rivera, former Stanford head coach David Shaw, former Titans and current Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, and Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.

The Bears also have requested interviews with Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell, Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury and Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich.
 That is a wide net.
The Steelers have had only three head coaches since 1969: Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher and Tomlin, who turns 53 in March. Tomlin has never had a losing season in Pittsburgh and is the second-winningest coach in franchise history, behind only Noll, with a career record of 183-107-2.
That's amazing. :-|| :-|| :-||

Then, they block a FG with under 2 minutes remaining, 12-23. KC gets another home game, but they are vulnerable.
