Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Wow! You sure got your fill of legendary performances! I’m envious!! I was born in 1975, so I missed the greatness of that decade. I was eight when my aunty and uncle took us to see Journey (with Steve Perry at the time).
First time I saw Journey they opened for the Rolling Stones at Soldier Field and blew the Stones away....and I remember this!

Wow. It’s hard to imagine Journey being an opening act!

I read that Lynyrd Skynyrd also opened for the Stones, and they upset the Stones by disobeying their directive NOT to perform on the special tongue-shaped stage.

I was never into the Stones until I watched their concert film on IMAX. That blew me away!

No problem with that choice, although I think I've only heard a couple of songs off the album - both were good. But Kendrick Lamar's awards? If a majority of "13,000" voters voted "Not Like Us" for an award over the other nominees - any of the nominees - they should be taken out and flogged. I didn't throw anything at the TV, but definitely yelled at it.

I'm not much of a country fan, even Beyountry. I'm just thrilled that she won after all the near misses.

No opinion on KL. I didn't watch much - Shakira and Charli xcx performances and Diana Ross presenting.

Grammys Audience Erupts Over Alicia Keys’ Apparent Slam Of Donald Trump Move

Alicia Keys appeared to call out President Donald Trump’s efforts to nix diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives as she accepted the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at the 2025 Grammys ceremony on Sunday....

“This is not the time to shut down the diversity of voices,” urged Keys.

“We’ve seen on this stage, talented, hard-working people from different backgrounds with different points of view, and it changes the game. DEI is not a threat — it’s a gift,” she said.

“The more voices, the more powerful the sound,” Keys added. “When destructive forces try to burn us down, we rise from the ashes like a phoenix and as you see tonight, music is the unstoppable language that connects us all, it’s so beautiful.”...

Whiny, self-loathing White supremacy mouthpiece  :
GOP Congressman Chalks Beyoncé’s Historic Grammy Win Up to ‘DEI’

Congressman Burgess Owens (R-UT) has joined the disproportionately vocal minority of critics who were unimpressed by Beyoncé’s historic win at the Grammy Awards last Sunday. In addition to becoming the first Black woman in Grammy history to win Best Country Album, the “Texas Hold ’Em” songstress won Album of the Year for the first time in her long career.

In an interview with video journalist Nicholas Ballasy at the Capitol on Friday, Owens called Beyoncé’s triumph “the closest thing to DEI we’re going to see right now.”

Though Owens admitted that he does not listen to country music,
STFU then.
he seemed pretty convinced that fans of the genre “do not appreciate” Beyoncé taking home this year’s award.
They can speak for themselves, asshole.
"... Fairness is what our country is all about.”
 Says the male bigot. His election must have been DEI, too. Funny that.
Owens then somehow managed to shoehorn in some praise for Donald Trump, concluding with a bizarre non-sequitur about transgender women in sports: “That’s why we’re so excited about what President Trump did with protecting women from men. We do not like unfairness. We see that, we turn away.”
:wtf:
... It’s also an acknowledgement that Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé’s eighth solo studio album—which features collaborations with legends of the genre like Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson—was, indeed, a country album.
Not that admittedly ignorant Owens would know.
I wish. Silly, though.

He supported repeal of Obamacare, then he did not support repeal of Obamacare. :headscratch:
... He also stated his opposition to a minimum wage increase....
Feed the rich, nothing else matters.
On July 19, 2022, Owens was among 47 Republican representatives who voted in favor of the Respect for Marriage Act, which would codify the right to same-sex marriage in federal law. However, Owens voted "present" on final passage on December 8, 2022.
Yet another flip-flop.
In August 2022, Owens co-sponsored a bill put forth by Marjorie Taylor Greene that would criminalize gender-affirming health care for trans youth.
Committed bigot who loves EmptyG. :puke-left:

Raised Baptist converted to Mormonism in his 30s. 'Nuff said.

The 3 Stooges of the right - Goofy Gaetz, Bozobert, Sleazy Santos - and other RWers throw a hissy fit:
MAGA Thoroughly Flips Out Over ‘Satanic’ Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Show
Donald Trump acolytes Lauren Boebert and George Santos led the criticism.

Conservatives melted down over Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday.

Some of President Donald Trump’s MAGA acolytes said they couldn’t understand what the Grammy Award-winning musician was rapping about during his set.
Closed captioning worked great for me, whiners.
Others suggested he was somehow in league with the devil.
Actor Samuel L. Jackson’s appearance as Uncle Sam has been interpreted as a diss toward Trump.
:wtf: 1.5% DonOLD doesn't own Uncle Sam.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Kendrick Lamar was announced as the halftime show several months before Trump won

If anyone knows “absolute TRASH" it's Sleazy Santos.

Every TV has them, duh. Otoh, we need translators for the stupid stuff you routinely spew.

Nor mine. Now that is a responsible, non-White supremacist and polite post for someone with a national platform to issue. Kudos.

 Backed by 500 gay male dancers, MadCaw!

 :violin: MAGAts are ALWAYS victims.

Not C&W, duh. Nice of the KKK to weigh in.

Hey BJ,
1.5% DonOLD sank his football league and doesn't compete in the NFL. It can let anyone perform that it wishes. 1A much?
Thanks, cretin

Kid Rock's 'cringe' Donald Trump victory rally performance brutally mocked
Kid Rock took to the stage at Donald Trump's Victory rally on January 19, but his performance was widely panned on social media, with users branding it as "cringe".

... "I see the @KidRock is performing at Trump Victory rally guess its the only way he can make any money since he is now a washed up nobody that no one want to listen to his music anymore."

Another added their voice to the fray, remarking: "Someone needs to tell Kid Rock he has no talent. What a sad performance for Donald Trump's Victory Rally at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C."...
