Is “Power Slap” a sport?

Power Slap is the only “sport” where a competitor willingly exposes himself to a brutal shot to the head.

Technically, I guess it’s a sport. But you’d have to be crazy to take part in it. Concussions are an obvious danger. I wonder if a particularly hard strike could break a jaw or even crack a skull?

What about boxing, ultimate fighting, MMA, etc? I'm no fan of any of these.

Then, football necessarily involves brutal shots to the head, as does soccer - head-to-head or head-to-ball.
