Wind shouldn't be much of a factor tomorrow. NE winds at 9 mph.

Bill Buckner lives in infamy in World Series lore, but the guy who replaced him in Chicago (Buckner was a good Cub) had his own Bill Buckner moment that probably cost us a 1984 Series appearance. Guessing Leon is forever grateful to Buckner for making him a footnote.

I remember it too well. Also, MLB took away the Cubs home field advantage because of no lights.

I've been to many Cub games for over 50 years, but never a playoff game. This was different. There was an electric feeling, we stood for half the game, cheering wildly for strike three's....it was fun!

I wouldn't pay thousands for really good seats on principle, but I would go for $300 nosebleeds as long as they weren't obstructed.

As we were leaving Wrigley yesterday walking on Waveland both my bro in law and I were wearing Obvious Cub shirts which have become a big seller around here.
