I liked the "October" shirt with the red C - assuming the Cubs make it through the current series.

Yeah, I could probably do better if was a team I really didn't like, but although I'm not a card-carrying fan, I've always like the Cubs. It's hard not to be a Padres fan here though - with the coverage they get everywhere you feel like they're neighbors. So "Go Padres" but if they do choke like they've done a lot recently, particularly on the road, I won't cry in my beer.
Imagine if you had shown that kind of unfettered enthusiasm for Game 1. It's crunch time now, cut loose O Really!

Fun story,

As we were leaving Wrigley yesterday walking on Waveland both my bro in law and I were wearing Obvious Cub shirts which have become a big seller around here.
https://obviousshirts.com/

https://obviousshirts.com/cdn/shop/prod ... &width=540

Guy walks up to us and says "great shirts" and hands us each a card. It was the owner of the company and we each scored a free t-shirt of our choice!

Any suggestions?

Anyone ever see The Bear on Hulu?

What do these mean?
PCA 30/30 CLUB!
BIG RED 19
O-N-K-C (19)
THE JAGUAR 13
THE GOAT DAD HAT. (14)
WRIGLEY CLOCK (2:20)
Who are the "MONSTERS OF THE MOUNTAIN"? Halas? Sweetness? Dick Butkus? Ditka.
Rhino 23 - Never mind, "Ryno"
Which Obvious Cub shirts were you wearing, the two 23s you pictured?

I like "DA POPE"

Personally, I think "OCTOBER" is too obvious. I'd go for a more obscure one as a conversation starter.

Who are these guys?

Cool. Who is the Chicago #22 being recognized, Cade Horton, an earlier baseball player, or a different sport?

Possible rookie of the year this year and our best pitcher. He's been untouchable since the all-star break.

Unfortunately, injured right now.

I expect trash talk with O Really.

Go baseball:
(5) Padres vs at (4) Cubs
1: 1-3 Cubs
2: 3-0 Padres. Game 3!

Go:
(6) Tigers > at (3) Cleveland 2-1
1-6 Cleveland. Game 3!

at (4) Yankees > (5) Red Sox 1-3 :(
4-3 Yankees, phew  Game 3!

(6) Reds > at (3) Dodgers
5-10  Fans got their money's worth.
4-8, lots of runs again. LAD wins series 2-0. I don't hate the Dodgers. It's just that they've had so much success the past few years that I figure it's someone else's turn.
1-2 so far.
1-2 again, 2-4 so far.

Shohei Ohtani is not of this world.
:-|| I think he's slated to pitch game 3 if necessary.
Of course he is.
He had a good night at the plate:
https://www.espn.com/mlb/boxscore/_/gameId/401809258
Dodgers oust Reds in wild card, advance to face Phillies in NLDS

... The Dodgers, forced to play in the best-of-three wild-card series for the first time, have advanced to the division series for the 13th consecutive year, tied with the 1995-2007 New York Yankees for the longest streak since the round was introduced. They will now travel to face the Philadelphia Phillies, who beat them in two of three games at Dodger Stadium in the middle of September.

Taking the ball in Game 1 on Saturday, with game time still undetermined, will be Ohtani.

"I know that Sho will revel being in that environment and pitching in Game 1," Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman said. "I think we have a really talented rotation. I think it's going to be a strength for us if we go forward." ...
Go Ohtani! Go Phillies! :headscratch:

That was an incredible leap in the 7th for a line out by Cub 2B Jose Iglesias. Could have easily dunked a basketball with that. Hope you got to watch replays, GCG.
