Early on I said the Dems should have jumped at the chance to join the GQP rebels and oust him. Other voices here said that he will only be replaced by someone worse, an argument I didn't really buy. Turns out he's a competent manager, articulate and a hardcore ideologue. That is the worst, IMO.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson defended labeling this weekend's "No Kings" rallies opposing President Donald Trump as "hate America" rallies, arguing that he was not referring to Democrats themselves but the message of the protesters.
