I have an idea for a new game we can play: WORDLE GOLF

The winner is determined by who has the lowest cumulative score after 18 holes (rounds).

The scoring would look like this:

1 = ace
2 = eagle
3 = birdie
4 = PAR
5 = bogey
6 = double bogey
BUST = triple bogey (1-point penalty)

I had also toyed with an opposite type scenario. 2 pt's for a win, 1 pt for second.....

Both fine with me.

I was thinking about an anti-bonus: .5 penalty for 6/6, then expanding that to 5/6 if 6/6 worked out okay. Unlike our current bonus this would not be additive to our existing bust penalty, which would remain a 1-point penalty.

Without a prior declaration of, say, 'must win by 2' or some other complicating factor, we should go with the common sense and generally accepted standard - Most points after 7 wins. Otherwise, why not say that since I got to 7 first . . .
