We've had the shitiest summer. It's been mostly hot, stagnant and humid ala south Florida.

The first nice day in forever and we get this.

Burns my eyes to go outside.

We're having a weather event! Weather chicks are orgasmic - and for a 3-day cumulative amount of rain that in South Florida we used to call "Tuesday afternoon in July", we've got milk/bread grocery trips, and sandbag filling. But seriously, there will be bang-ups because of slippery roads, flooding from drains that haven't been cleared lately, and around LA some houses will fall off hills they shouldn't have been built on in the first place. And the burn scars will turn into mudslides.

I was just looking at that. l was considering going to LA this weekend for my sister in law's 60th birthday party. Glad I didn't as it was supposed to be outside and now they're cramming 150 people inside.

With that many they'd never have missed me.

Not a good weekend for LA. Airport's a mess, getting the worst of the area rain, traffic will be impossible. Might still be better than what you e been getting though.
