Yeah, it's not like UNC has ever been a football powerhouse. The list of 10+ wins or bowl wins for that matter is pretty short. Who knows? I suspect they had no chance at a true top tier college coach like a Saban or Kiffin so they thought maybe an overrated used NFL coach with national notoriety might be the next best.
