I was once loosely associated with a group that sponsored an awards dinner. The "winners" were a local businessman and Jim Hightower. I naively asked about the selection process or plans for the next year and was told that it was all a one-off excuse to have a fundraising dinner . It was quite successful and never happened again. There will never be another FIFA "Peace Prize" after the first one is so tainted would be my guess.
