No question, however, a lot of independent voted for Trump as well.
And they won't again, he and his "policies" are extremely unpopular with independents.
Probably irreparably because he's too dumb to change course. I'm actually hopeful the Senate will flip in the mid terms.

The dems still have two years to find a candidate with gravitas, it'll happen.

Right now it looks like a Vance/Rubio ticket. However, as with you time changes much in politics: See Gary Hart.

Oh yeah, Gary Hart, who I actually met several times while working for McGovern. Got booted from the race for minor "Monkey Business" and press taunting. If Hart is the standard, Trump should never have made it into the 2915 primaries.

Pretty much any generic white guy would sparkle like Taylor Swift next to Billie Eilish compared to vance et al.

Billie Eilish? You mean the winner of this year's Grammy for Song of the Year (Wildflower)? :P The O Really jinx appears again, in just 2 days.

Hey, I didn't say Billie Eilish wasn't talented. And Wildflower is a great song. But when it comes to sparkle, she shouldn't stand beside Taylor or Sabrina or Dua Lipa, or maybe even Chappell Roan.

Sorry to have stepped on Billie fans toes. Go back to my original comment and substitute "Lola Young" for Billie. All fixed?

I'll grant GoCubsGo's "sparkle" distinction, but I thought the "vance et al." equivalency went too far. Idk FUCKING ;) Lola Young well enough to opine.

Billie Eilish multi million home is located on native American land.

Billie Eilish Gets Roasted Online for ‘Stolen Land’ Comment at Grammy Awards.

The Native American tribe that owns the land under Billie Eilish’s multimillion-dollar Los Angeles mansion said celebrities should “explicitly” reference the tribes if they want to use them to virtue-signal.

The Tongva tribe confirmed the “Bad Guy” singer’s $3 million home does sit on its “ancestral land,” after the 24-year-old used her Grammys acceptance speech to rail against ICE and insist that “no one is illegal on stolen land.”

The indigenous inhabitants of the Los Angeles Basin, known as the “First Angelenos,” said they appreciate Eilish’s sentiment, but noted that the performer hasn’t contacted them directly — and insisted that next time, she explicitly reference them. https://nypost.com/2026/02/03/us-news/n ... ys-speech/
