@Iowa is 7-0 but only has 6 AP votes. MAYBE, 5-3, 0 votes MD can beat them Dec 6 and share the Big Ten lead for real until losing by 80 to Michigan a week later.

Special shout out to University of Hawaii senior guard Lily Wahinekapu, who today was named the Big West Conference’s Player of the Year!


Lily led Hawaii to the Big West regular-season championship and the No. 1 seed in this week’s conference tournament. The Raimbow Wahine are attempting to make their third NCAA Tournament appearance in the last four seasons.

Lily is a local girl who attended Iolani School and led the school to three straight state championships.

Check out her hula performance at last Saturday’s Senior Night ceremonies! No one does “Senior Night” like Hawaii!
