2014 Elections

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I know, that's what's made it so much fun. I'd worry about your having let the cat out of the bag but they're a touch slow. As with their other obsessions all they can think about is sex.
Just trying to be helpful. ;)
Now that they've been advised, they either have to admit that yes, they do fantasize about your orientation or admit they're lying. Or keep on snagging on that same worm.

As usual, you whine, lie and change words. I did not say that indago is fantasizing about me but rather that s/he is "still fantasizing about my orientation," which s/he does a bunch, just like you. Also, indago is fantasizing that I'm "coming on to" her/him. Didn't you notice?

This one is especially funny since you quoted what I did post and then lied about it twice. How stupid, and sinful, is that?
Oh, stop being so defensive about it. Since you're into perversity, it's just a matter of degrees for you gays, and gay apologists, or both.

Back to the thread.

Time is drawin' nigh...Hagan and the dems are really getting desperate....I've durn-near wore out my mute button.....Tillis is countering, as well as the local yokels.
Funny though...according to Hagan, Tillis cut Medicaid, Tillis cut paychecks, Tillis cut Seniors benefits, Tillis did this, Tillis did that, Tillis went to take a ....well, not quite that far, but that'll probably be next.

How can one man be so destructive in doing all those bad deeds all by himself? Wait...I got it...Hagan must believe that her constituents are morons and will follow her like sheep; Tillis ain't do different.

Two yo-yo's floppin' in opposite directions.

Mr.B reminds me of the old guys I used to see in Florida, sitting around with their sandals and black socks, shorts pulled up toward their armpits, who had retired and took up grousing about the government and the way the world is going to Hell in a handbasket fulltime.

Do you wear black socks with your sandals, Mr.B?

Pretty lame if you ask me, but it's made for a popular gif.
If I could moon walk like Michael J and rap like that guy my life would be complete.

I don't care what color their skin is; I'm more concerned that those who vote are eligible to vote. What's the big deal?

Voting is a right, but I can't go to another country and expect to be allowed to vote just because I tell them I'm a resident there or was born in that country.

Vrede wrote:"Hagan is still leading in almost all polls, so "the dems (sic) are" slightly less "desperate" than the GOP."
Opps! mis-spelled that one didn't I? I meant to say 'Dims'....

"Tillis is GOP Speaker of the House, why shouldn't he be held accountable for the things the GOP he leads did?"
The ads make it appear that he is totally responsible for "the things the GOP he leads did". Hagan's ads even state he's going to cut Medicare/Medicaid, cut assistance to seniors, cut pay raise possibilities, plus numerous other accusations.....how can he do any of those? The jackwad ain't been elected yet!

Tillis' ads claim Hagan missed half of the security meetings; there were what...only two? She missed one of them...oh wait! That is half, ain't it? They're both comical clowns jostling to see who can smear who the mostest. (btw....now I can't watch YouTube without Hagan's cuss-sed ads attacking Tillis!)
:ateeth:

"Now, about your screw up in hallucinating that Tillis is mentioned in Legislature campaign ads?"
What about it? So sue me.

"Why do you always run away from your flubs?"
I'm too old to run; I walk away. I don't feel I have to respond to your every whine.

No...you screwed up your comprehension of it.

"He doesn't have a clue whether Hagan is spending her own money on the campaign or not.
If she is, he doesn't have a clue whether the money is from her salary or other income and savings."
What difference would it make what the source is? It's still her personal money.

"If she is spending money from her salary it's insignificant given the size of her salary, the costs of being a Senator and the tens of millions being spent on this race.
If she is spending a piddling amount of money from her salary on ads, it's her money to do with as she wants, no "poor taxpayers" about it."
True that, yet the "poor taxpayers" was her source of obtaining it to begin with. The "tens of millions being spent on this race" is ludicrous; I can't believe that people would waste their money to donate their hard earned money just to see someone elected to an office....later on down the road, they may get totally pissed-off at that person and regret every dollar donated! The only ones really benefitting from those wasted millions is the media sources running their ads

"Now, about your screw up in hallucinating that Tillis is mentioned in Legislature ads? Why do you always run away from your flubs?"
If you're referring to "a thirty minute news cast on WLOS is peppered with her ads bashing Tillis, Moffitt, and Presnell", you're really taking that personal , aren't you?

You wouldn't know integrity if it jumped up and bit you on the ass.

I have a helluva lot more integrity than you can ever dream of having. I earned it by my grandpa instilling a sense of decency in all of us,
even if it took a 'whipping' to do so......something you obviously never got, but should have; and a lot of it.

Thanks. Like I said earlier..."I equate political advertising with that of the drug companies.......the drug companies spend more time in a commercial telling you numerous ways how their great medicine can kill you as opposed to helping you; and the pols spend more time in their commercials bashing their opponent and digging up dirt rather than tell you how they themselves can benefit you if you vote for them."

I lost trust in politics and politicians a few years back. I was a registered Republican for many years until the sleaze of all politics ran like crap down-hill;
so I changed to non-affiliated and now vote my conscience. So far, my conscience has failed to impress upon me to vote for any particular candidate.

Look! up in the sky! It's a bird...it's a plane...it's...it's...it's...awww shit! it's only Tillis and his super-powers...
he's gonna single-handedly do us all in with one fell swoop.

Uhhh...Vrede...your stupidity is showing. Again.

What part of "Opps" are you having a problem with understanding? Is that too hard for you? Go to CPF and get the Colonel to explain it to you.

I guess if this was a governmental agency or a business you might be right Mr. B. Otherwise that argument falls on its face.
