The homophobic thread :>

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

The world ends by 2pm.
Word on the street is we're attacking Fort Sumter at midnight.
I advise you to turn back Captain Redlegs.......doing such a thing won't end well for you guys.
There wasn't enough bud light to go around so we had to cancel our trip.
You aren't doing it wrong if no one knows what you are doing.

That's pretty interesting. Do you also do interpretations from I Ching? I'll bet you'd be very good at it.

Sorry....I haven't been around a manual cash register since I was a kid, although I do remember the sound. :D

Funny. But you have no idea what I Ching is, do you? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Ching
Been around a lot longer than the New Testament, and followed by millions in the world (not including me). Point being, the statements it makes when one divines the code are as ambiguous and nebulous as your quotes. To apply the wisdom to the student's current situation requires contemplation and interpretation. I just thought you have a talent for it.

There are more people on the planet that believe in religions other than Christianity than there are Christians. I wonder what that means. But I only wonder about it infrequently and sometimes not at all.

Maybe if I cast the I Ching on Mr.B's post I'll be able to figure it out.
I read a story about the gay bull of Ireland yesterday. Many wanted to sacrifice him, but cooler heads prevailed. :thumbup:

You mean.......it's not the sound a cash register makes? -0-?

I didn't know until you mentioned it; I looked it up and found the same link you've presented.

There's one God; only what is written in various interpretations is different; therefore I really have no reason to study it further;
I'm satisfied with what I have. :thumbup:

The enemy that sowed them is the devil;

It bears the closest resemblance to wheat till the ear appears, and only then the difference is discovered.

So you're interpreting the "tares" planted ostensibly by Satan to be gays? Is there no other interpretation where evil is planted by Satan in the world? How about serial killers, or Republicans?

So you're Jewish now?

Your previous policy on Old Testament quotes:

Well here's what you did say: "Not only that...employers are now afraid to pay them lower than average wages...what with discrimination, anti-equality, etc. "
I don't think it's a big jump in logic to infer that without "discrimination, anti-equality, etc." that you might find it reasonable to pay "them" lower than average wages because they're ... well, because they're one of "them." It's a fair deduction that if the only reason not to discriminate is because it's illegal, then you would support discrimination if it weren't for the law.

OK, fair enough. so let's clarify for all - do you think it should be legal for employers to discriminate against employees because of their sexual orientation? It's a yes or a no - thingy not required.

Sinful man in general; homosexuality is sin. Here's the scripture in the NIV since you're having comprehension issues:
"The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil."

"all the scientific evidence that it's genetics and the scientists to discover it."
The servants who discovered the scourge...."Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?".

"Nothing about scientific evidence and scientists."
It doesn't take scientific evidence or scientists to determine when something is bad wrong, does it?

".....as to give Mr.B license to claim that anything he's prejudiced against is Satan's work."
I'm not prejudiced; I happen to know a pear tree from an apple tree.....and I believe the words of the Bible.

"Point proven."
Yep...you've proved your lack of comprehension. Thanks! :thumbup:

In all fairness, no.

My stance is that a Christian business should have the right to say "No" when an instance arises that goes against their religious beliefs....and you know what I'm referencing; so no need to rehash that argument.

I only comment on parts of posts I deem important enough to comment on or add a rebuttal. What I feel is foolishness is deleted.

I wish you'd stop teasing me. I'm hurting from all the laughing.
