Probably just works at BMW. Going by what is assembled in the Upstate plant, they're OK...nothing bad-ass about them except the price. Spartanburg builds the X-Line BMW's.

I'd take a Porsche 911 or even a Cayman over a BMW M type. It's all pricey, but it's also fine German engineering.

It's a pretty good measure to determine who the "real christians" are.... so far, haven't met one.

Well, even though I suffer a deficit of faith, I suppose there's something to be said for it; after all, US currency is, and has been for about forty years, backed by "faith." It's actually worthless in reality; it only has worth due to faith and belief in it. Keep the faith, baby.

You're probably right - but there are a lot of literalists out there who believe that every word in the Bible is true exactly as written. It would be interesting to hear their take on the question - can a tiny bit of faith move a mountain or not? Yes or no.

You believe that faith can help resolve a big personal problem ("the mountain"). No problem with that, but again, we have to consider the literalists, to whom the question was posed "can faith move a mountain or not - yes or no" It would be difficult to answer "yes" to that and then admit one had insufficient faith to make it happen, and, as Banni pointed out, nobody has yet been caught moving a mountain, (unless you count the mining companies in West Virgina.) It would be difficult to answer "no" and still be a literalist. I think it would be a fun conversation, if the literalists would actually hold up their end of it without flaming out.

The D11 is definitely a mountain mover, but more likely a tool of Satan than God. Good rum, on the other hand, is the nectar of the God(s), making it not a big deal if the mountain is moved or not, mon.

It's surely interesting which parts people pick out as "yes, this is literal", and "no, not a real mountain".

It's almost as if people pick and choose based on preexisting bias or something. (Oh, and provability.) e.g. 1000 years ago: "Yep, the world was created in 7 days." Today: "Well, it's just a figurative story and days may equal something else."

Even the literalness isn't constant with time. - I'd be willing to bet, that moving a mountain was also literal at one point. It's just now, no one can get away with saying yep, gawd answered my prayer and that mountain moved. Cause well.... now we have pictures from the air and space and tell them they are full of shit.... and if needed lock them up cause they need some mental help.

The other day my phone rang and the caller id displayed my own number, so I answered it thinking that I was actually going to have a conversation my myself, but instead it was someone asking if I wanted to have any mountains moved. I told the guy I did not, and even if I did I wouldn't know where to put them. I didn't believe he could have moved them anyway.
