The homophobic thread :>

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

The meaning of my post was in relation to homerfobe's saying that while the world around us is in turmoil and threatened with various forms of destruction, we here in the US are more concerned with sexual perversion. I post mostly in reply, homerfobe posts radical :bs: , you post links to keep the thread alive. Hmm....looks as though we're all "obsessed"!

Speaking of "redneckiness", I think you will enjoy this one....

The "Pop-Top" shown at 6:13....I've seen that for real! Several years ago, The Rainbow Children had a gathering in Asheville with plans to defy the government and camp out somewhere in the Great Smokies, claiming rights to do so because they were US citizens with rights to use public lands, Anyhow, they looked like Rastafarians, and smelled like they hadn't bathed in weeks. They had been shopping at Kmart on Patton Avenue. Weird, but I wouldn't say they were rednecks.

Mr.B what happened to your posts?
Vrede wrote:All of us post about many topics while you mostly dwell on gay sex and homerfobe doesn't post about anything else.
I don't post about anything else because I'm obsessed with berating you and your queer loving cohorts. Yeah, you post about many topics, but you favor this thread, so it must be your obsessive fantasy with faggots. You don't think the other things I mentioned are more important than supporting the rise of faggotry, AIDS, and general human debauchery? Yep, our priorities in the US are really fucked up.

Despite the subject matter associated with his post; homerfobe made a good point.

In the US, we are more concerned about a specific group's perverted sexual habits than we are with world problems, or even our own problems here at home. Companies spend big bucks touting their stance on homosexuality so as not to lose "gay" shopping dollars; some of those same dollars are being donated to favorite politicians in order to achieve special favors, etc., when here at home, children and sometimes entire families are starving or have not a decent home.

I saw this video, and although it's only an experiment, it drives home an uncaring attitude in our nation that is more concerned with embracing perverted lifestyles....

Correction, *you* are more concerned by those habits. People like you have went out of their way to make the laws unequal to everyone. That takes effort and energy that could be directed to better things.

There is no reason why people can't work on more than one issue at a time.

Just like the old joke about PA. Philadelphia at one end, Pittsburgh
at the other and Alabama in between. Actually, Claysville is south-
west of Pittsburgh, but close enough.

So true!
Claysville is also almost West Virgina, by 5 or 10 miles.

Maybe there was a little cross border transference from the west.
West Virginia, not quite heaven.
