The homophobic thread :>

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Seems CNN is the culprit.

Yep, CNN screwed up this one. Those posh
limey accents will get one every time.

If you're telling the truth (that's always a big IF with you) and not just covering for your gullibility, what it means is that you knowingly posted a video about a dildo/cock ring/butt plug (hmmm) banner at a gay pride march that mocks hateful, gay-obsessed fundies much like you are. Are you sure that's the story you want to go with? We may laugh at your faggot strutting even harder.

Since you "can't see my posts", maybe someone will be kind enough to quote me so you can see it and reply; however, I will answer your question in a fair manner.

I really didn't pay any attention to what was on the flag; like the reporter, I was duped (momentarily) until I realized how ludicrous it would be for someone to walk in a "gay" pride parade with the most hated flag in the world. I watched the video twice before I decided to post it. At first, I wrote about it being a farce, then went back and deleted what I wrote. I then posted words that made it look like it was the real thing.

Now if "we" want to laugh, go ahead, it was funny; remember though, it's not my "faggot strutting".
(kudos to Homerfobe; that was funny; not nice, but "phunny"!)

You realize you're using Vrede's copyrighted words, don't you?
Not me that's experiencing "butthurt"; it's those "gays" getting married that experience "butthurt."

As I've said many times, I care less that "gays" "marry", but you, in your obsession with "gays", are too dense to understand that.

Now, go off somewhere and grow up; maybe that'll take your mind off "gays".

I would guess that dildos have been mentioned here before, but I'm sure that Mr.B brought cock rings and butt plugs to this forum, nttawwt.

To be fair, marriage often leads to less butthurt regardless of the orientation of the married.

I have no idea what those are. Is that something you use in your profession? Or between you and rstrong, which of you is the cock ring and which of you is the butt plug; you brought yourselves here; I didn't take you to raise.

Experience has spoken; is that why you're no longer married? Maybe rstrong will marry you; that's in vogue now, you know. Image

Poor choice of words on my part - "still running"

but honestly, fuked up news is the one that will continue to push fake stories in spite of overwhelming evidence - no go zones, $78/hrs auto workers, 47% on entitlements (although that one turned out to be pretty cool when mittens fell for it)

and as all will notice it was bb who fell for the story about gay muslims

So did any of these clowns really think they were going to win this in court? Seriously? How many cases in how many state and how many courts of appeal have agreed there is a right to marriage equality? And they found one somewhere that said "no" so that creates an "issue" for the Supreme Court? During all this time that marriage equality has existed to one degree or another in the 34 states, have the wheels fallen off the bus? Have there been hetero marriages ruined, ministers forced to do weddings they don't want to do? Churches losing their tax exemption over the gay marriage issue? (not that some don't deserve to lose it over other issues). No. No "dark day" in any of those states.

But seriously - why are they weeping and wailing and gnashing teeth over a decision three years in the making - predicted by practically every legal scholar in the country? I can understand being disappointed when the finality sinks in, but surprised? Hell, they're worse than I was when I lost $50 in a bet with one of my right wing colleagues over Heller and worse had to put up with his trash-talking smack for months.

On the bright side, the crazier they get, the better for the rest of us.

No, but some of them may have had hope. After all, it was just 5-4.

They've had months or longer to plan their response and now they're carrying it out. The point is to paint themselves as victims, raise money from idiots that think we'll go backwards, and try to chip away at the edges with "religious freedom" bigotry. Heck, we're still fighting over Jim Crow, Roe v. Wade and the Civil War.

Edit:  9 minutes later I saw this headline:

Ted Cruz insists “religious liberty” is different from bigotry — but refuses to say how

Of course with an increasing number of branches of Christianity - and other religions - supporting and performing same-sex marriage, the Supreme Court's decision is FOR religious liberty.
