I've cleared cookies and cache and even reset Firefox. Ideas?
Caching issue.
Agreed.

Vrede, try rebooting your PC/pad/whatever, along with your router, etc.
It should straighten itself out eventually.

Banni, you need to set the correct time from DST.
I did change it, we'll see if it sticks.

Hey vredester where ya been? I use firefox and it took me a while to be able to connect. It still every once in a while redirects me to the homepage of the 0000webhost. I was using my phone boy what a headache that was with little fat fingers.
Good luck

One of them is just a personal website with my resume, so I'm not too worried about that one. It's been up for about five years without issue, but then again it doesn't receive much traffic

The other two I might move to a different host. I'm too freaking cheap man.

Thanks for the warning!

Sounds good, if they even remotely start receiving any amount of traffic, they'll do it in a heart beat. I think we hit about 100,000 page views in one month, apparently that's enough even though it didn't go over a single quota.

It'll clear up on it's own I'm pretty sure.

There is an alternative but it's a bit technical. Override your DNS settings from your internet provider, and use http://opendns.com's servers, they are pointing to the correct IP address for this site, I just checked.

IP address:

208.67.222.222

208.67.220.220

Here's a walkthrough: http://www.plus.net/support/software/dn ... _mac.shtml

Or... just give it time... it will clear up on it's own.

34,200 hits, which doesn't necessarily mean a whole lot, but the horror stories go on for pages and pages.

Why am I still getting 000Webhost cookies? I delete them. Later, they're back.

Are you by chance going through hville.hostzi.com to get here?

They should not be coming back at all. I just cleared all of my cookies, and I'm not getting any from webhost back, at least not yet.

BoingBoing: 13 million passwords compromised in webhost hack
The web-hosting service 000Webhost stored user passwords as plain text. We know this because 13 million of them were exposed in a five-month old hack whose consequences are only now becoming clear.
[...]
000Webhost users should be on the alert for fraud. And if they used the same password anywhere else, reset it there, too.

Hello,

Recently we have witnessed a data breach. In an effort to protect our users, we had temporarily blocked access to few systems, but now we are back and we’re stronger and safer than ever!
We have been audited by external security experts and we have implemented extra security measures. You can safely use 000webhost for free.

Connection to Your members area is now encrypted with SSL certificate (SHA-256 with RSA 2048 bits key). Your passwords are stored securely hashed with bcrypt algorithm with a cost factor of 12. Passwords are now immune to Brute Force attacks. Cracking a password, which has more than 4 randomly generated symbols, would take years.

At 000webhost our top priority remains the same - to provide free high quality web hosting for everyone.

Thank you for supporting and being with us. Use an exclusive coupon code BACK75 for up to 75% LIFETIME discount at http://www.hosting24.com. Try our Premium Hosting services with Unlimited Disk Space, Unlimited Traffic, Free Domain Name and much more. The coupon is valid until 2015.12.01, so act quickly.

This works out to be less than $0.07/day, which is fantastic value for money. Remember we also give you a 30-day Money Back Guarantee, a 99.9% uptime guarantee and 24/7 support via ticket and live chat, to show how confident we are.

Thank you for being our client and using our services

Sincerely,
000webhost

Tried the coupon out of pure curiosity.... I guess they're not lying up to 75%.... I mean they didn't say up to and including 75%.

Pay Every 3 Months $5.35 51% $16.05
Pay Every 6 Months $5.25 52% $31.5
Pay Every 12 Months $4.99 57% $59.88
Pay Every 24 Months $4.49 59% $107.76
Pay Every 36 Months $3.99 64% $143.64
Pay Every 48 Months $3.49 68% $167.52

:-?

Such scammy.
