If you ever do, I hope I'm around to see how you'll react when " What I would do or want to do is irrelevant" hits home. We'll see proof of what a big, brave, narcissistic, condescending, bleeding :crybaby: heart liberal you really are.

Ummm, agree with their decisions or not, panty-waist judges don't overturn prior rulings. Seth Milner fails English, again.
You're right; my spell-check says I mis-spelled panty-waist.

Panty-waist Seth Milner just makes up lies when he's floundering.

Unfortunately, the innocent suffer with the guilty. It's not a perfect system out there, but it would do the job of curbing violent crime.
 Again, that's just you making things up, as usual. There is zero evidence that state killing has a deterrent effect. In fact, states with the death penalty on average have more violence, not less.
I've already pointed out that that's because of the appeal process and the courts being overburdened with cases that take years to get to. If justice, sentencing, and punishment were swift, you better believe when scumbags and animals see those results, crime will drop. In the meantime, it's ho-hum as usual and you whiners whine on over incarcerations and those poor mis-treated scumbags.

There's substantial evidence of various types that that is simply not true. First, even when there was "frontier justice" and "hanging judges" there was still crime.More than now Further, in countries where "justice" is swift and severe, there is still crime - people steal even if they know they'll lose a hand if caught. . But past that, you've got several psychological factors working against deterrence. A criminal doesn't expect to get caught. If he did, that would be a deterrent for some, but it's pretty clear criminals will take substantial risks for whatever their crime is. The punishment, no matter how severe or swift isn't a deterrent to someone who either doesn't expect to get caught or doesn't care if he's killed. Further, a lot of crime is done by people not setting out to be criminals, particularly a lot of violence. A swift and severe penalty doesn't deter or mean anything to a person who, for example, kills in a fit of anger or because they're drunk or because they just happened to have a gun in their hand when they wuz disrespected or skeered. The only people a swift and severe punishment would deter are those who (a) set out to commit a crime that (b) they expect to get caught at. What percentage of those committing crimes would you guess that would apply to?

Not only all of that but Seth Milner is wishing for things that are unconstitutional and society won't accept. I disagree. If even one innocent life is spared then it's worth doing away with. The entire purpose of of the death penalty is to punish those guilty of especially heinous crimes by forever removing them from society so that they may no longer harm an innocent person.

If faced with and offered the choice, I might, might feel the same way. However, what we're discussing is whether the death penalty is preferable to life in prison for society, not the personal feelings of the muderers. Then, if I was one of the many falsely convicted, I'd definitely want life in prison in hopes of someday proving my innocence and being released before I died in prison.

Pick one, Seth - is it "live with a pack of animals who see other men as sex objects, I'd rather be shot at the stake at sunrise" or is it "coddled" and living "a good life" with "better amenities than most citizens."

Shot.
Amenities means necessities: food, meds, a place to sleep, clothing, a roof over their heads. Of course you knew that; you're not dumb.

So "most citizens" in the US don't have "food, meds, a place to sleep, clothing, a roof over their heads"? I did not know that. I must be dumber than you think. I'm pretty sure, however, that there's a difference in my food, bed, clothing and medical care (and likely yours) than that available to the inmates. Example of an animal:

CITRONELLE, Ala. (AP) — A man accused of slaying five people at an Alabama home brought an ax to attack his victims, striking one who had been sleeping in a reclining chair, and also used guns he took from the house to shoot them, an Alabama sheriff said Tuesday.

Derrick Dearman entered the house in Citronelle before dawn Saturday, Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran told The Associated Press.

"They were down for the night sleeping, and he had enough familiarity with the house when he entered — I guess you could say in a rage — and he's disabling people as he's in there," Cochran said. "He was able to overpower them before they were able to protect themselves."

An ax and a gun were used in the killings of each of the five adult victims, police allege in criminal complaints filed Tuesday in Mobile County District Court.

On Monday, as Dearman was led to jail in shackles, he professed his love for the estranged girlfriend whose family and friends were massacred and blamed the killings on drugs.

Speaking with reporters as he was escorted to jail by deputies in Mobile, Alabama, Derrick Dearman said Monday that he was on methamphetamine when he went to the house, on a dead-end dirt road.

"Drugs (were) making me think things that's not really there," said Dearman, 27, hanging his head and dressed in a bright yellow jail uniform.
Methamphetamine . . . champion of the "drugs should be legalized" movement.

After the killings, authorities said, Dearman abducted estranged girlfriend Laneta Lester, who had sought refuge at the house, and a child of two of the victims. Dearman said he spared their lives because "I came down and realized what was really going on."

"(I) turned myself in because I was sober and knew what was the right thing to do," Dearman said.

In videotaped comments broadcast on Mobile-area television, Dearman expressed his love for Lester and apologized "to all the family members." Dearman, saying all the victims were friends, added: "Don't do drugs."
Don't say that to the "Legalize Drugs Foundation"

A man who said his family provided a home for Dearman and Lester earlier this year near Leakesville, Mississippi, said Dearman was often on methamphetamine and physically abused Lester during walks in the woods in rural southeast Mississippi.

"He was taking her out there and beating the crap out of her," said Charlie Passarelli Jr., who said he had known Dearman for years. Passarelli said he suspected that Dearman was either buying or selling drugs before he and Lester moved out in late spring.
"But...but...but... that doesn't make him an animal! He couldn't help himself; he was on drugs"

The slaying victims included a pregnant woman and her unborn child. A teenager who said she was related to all five victims by marriage or blood shook her head and fought back tears as she described her anguish over the slayings.

"They were really good people. They'd call and check on you, ask if you want to come down and eat," said Madison McDaniel, 17, who lives near the scene of the violence.

They had also become targets by welcoming Dearman's ex-girlfriend into the home, the sheriff said.

"I think the motivation was that he felt like they were keeping her from him," Cochran said.

"He couldn't deal with her being away from him and accept that she was leaving him," he said. "They were what was standing between them."

Relatives of the victims started an online fundraiser to help cover funeral expenses, and clerk Dawn Sullivan collected donations in a plastic jug on the counter at D&B Quick Stop, where the victims often stopped for snacks and drinks.

"It's a sad situation. It never should have gotten to that point," said Sullivan, whose husband was related to one of the victims.

Dearman, of Leakesville, is charged with six counts of capital murder and two counts of kidnapping, including one charge for the unborn child, Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich said.
Hold on just a minute there! According to liberal sources, an unborn child is not a person; therefore he can't be charged with that murder!

"At this time it appears it will be a death penalty case, but it's very early in the investigation," Rich said.
Go for it! Facist neo-nazis everywhere agree with you!

Dearman's first court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday morning. Alabama court records don't indicate whether he has an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
Maybe Vrede will volunteer.

The slain were identified as Shannon Melissa Randall, 35; Joseph Adam Turner, 26; Justin Kaleb Reed, 23; Chelsea Marie Reed, 22; and Robert Lee Brown, 26, said Mobile County sheriff's spokeswoman Lori Myles.

Turner was Lester's brother and had let her stay at the house, which all the victims shared, McDaniel said. Turner and Randall were married.

Brown was Randall's brother, McDaniel said, and Chelsea Reed was Randall's niece. Chelsea Reed was pregnant with the child of her husband, Justin Reed, said McDaniel.

About 1 a.m. Saturday, someone inside the home called 911 and reported that Dearman was on the property, authorities said in a statement. Citronelle police came to the house, but Dearman had left before officers arrived, sheriff's officials said.

Before daylight Saturday, Dearman returned to the home to begin the attacks, the sheriff's department said.

After the killings, Dearman forced Lester and a 3-month-old identified by relatives as the child of Randall and Turner into a vehicle, and they drove to Dearman's father's house in Mississippi. Dearman released Lester and the infant and turned himself in, authorities said.

As he was led away to jail on Tuesday, Dearman said he barely remembers what happened but said that he deserves a harsh punishment.
Had the drugs been legal, he would have remembered, if the murders had actually happened at all.

"I deserve to die," he said.
Alabama. . . he probably will; unless some panty-waist judge deems his actions were caused by him getting spanked as a child.

Yes there is. At least, being a higher form of animal, they get better fare than lower forms of animals, (except for pets of the rich)

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't. It's not that hard to get into jail if they preferred it. BTW, odds are quite a few of the people represented in your pics are in the situation they are at least in part because of having been in jail before. So I guess they're really just feral animals, eh?

No. They'd be in prison if they were; eating and living much better than they are as depicted.
