One more time: The US is AT WAR THERE - and so is Russia, and not always on the same side. AND it's led to a massive refugee crisis, AND Republicans are using it for racist scare mongering. "Aleppo" isn't some obscure Trivial Pursuit answer.
A presidential candidate should know about a war that the country is currently fighting. The issue isn't the media's mental gymnastics; it's Johnson's lack thereof.
Yeah but Johnson climbed Mount Everest making his cool factor ten times that of Drumpf and Shillary. He also smokes pot unlike Drumpf who sticks to the co-kain. Or Shillary who's just a reanimated corpse.
This was a calculated attempt by Johnson to appear cool to millennials. Nobody likes a know it all; Johnson recognized this and feigned ignorance by answering "what is allepo"?

It's possible when asking "What is Aleppo", Gary Johnson wasn't asking what "Aleppo" was in a literal sense, but what Aleppo means to us as a symbol of the current state of our political affairs.

When calling Mexicans rapists, Trump was really talking about how NAFTA unfairly hurts American workers by sending our jobs to places like Mexico, likening this to "raping" the US economy. It was in no way a racist statement, and is only taken to be by liberals who see boogey men lurking behind every corner projecting their own insecurities into a hatred of Trump.
Nothing more than lame-stream media spin taken hook, line, and sinker by the sheeple sipping on their fluoridated water, grasping at straws to discredit Trump.
Chem-trails.

... The shirt pays homage to the classic "Ghostbusters" films Murray starred in during the 1980s, as well as "the curse of the Billy Goat," a popular Chicago baseball storyline.
In 1945, Billy Goat Tavern owner Billy Sianis was asked to leave Game 4 of the World Series after the smell of his goat was bothering fans. An angered Sianis is said to have later proclaimed, "Them Cubs, they ain't gonna win no more," which has held true.
The Cubs haven't won a World Series since 1908, and haven't played in one since 1945.
