Well, those were just guesses; it's quite difficult to rationalize the decisions of someone with a reptilian brain.

The headline should be: Lee dismisses ForrestLee now in favor of changing Confederate proclamation
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee changed course on Monday and declared he's now in favor of amending a law that requires the state to honor Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest, an early leader of the Ku Klux Klan.
Lee tweeted on Monday he will work to change a decades-old statute requiring governors to sign a proclamation designating July 13 as "Nathan Bedford Forrest Day." ...

That's a long time to keep something so lurid secret.... The lab was raided by the FBI in 2014, but the testimonies detailing what the agents found have just been made public because of the lawsuits....
Is that different from control of an illegal enterprise?... Mr Gore pleaded guilty in October 2018 to illegal control of an enterprise,
Seems light, I wonder what's up with that.and was sentenced to one year of deferred jail time and four years probation.

Yeah, I thought his charges and his sentence were both lacking. I've heard of folks being charged with desecration of a corpse; why wasn't he charged with that? Especially after attaching the woman's head to a man's body. Damn.

I know very little about it - I was just surprised the practice was even sorta close to maybe legal. I did a lot of work several years ago for a tissue bank, whom I referred to as my "ghouls." Seemed it was pretty tightly regulated and run. But there was no banking of whole parts, certainly no bucket of dicks, unless you count the acquisition team that bought them out. There was one incident in which an employee filed workers' compensation for the mental distress and PTSD he had from being visited by some ghosts of people from whom he had "harvested' tissue. Said he'd be watching TV at night and they'd come sit down with him.

I hope that the transplant side of the industry is heavily regulated.

Oh it was never in question that the guy was bat-slobbery crazy. At issue was whether his job caused it. And, being Florida, that question got serious consideration. Florida workers comp attorneys are some of the most creative people on earth.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 3:23 pm

India Almost Sank Its Own $2.9 Billion Submarine by Leaving a Hatch Open
They would have been okay, but when they called tech support for info. on making the sub seaworthy they got an American and couldn't understand a word he said.

My 95 Crown Victoria has a light to let me know when a door is ajar. But that is a luxury vehicle, I guess you can't expect fancy things like that on a basic trim level submarine.
Screen doors on submarines are a bad idea. It's a learning process.
Too bad, I hope they dont't forget the hatch when traveling to the moon.

I feel bad for any individuals that have been harmed, but 'Crazy Lady brings Big Banking to its knees' is a great Hollywood script.
