Limestone, close to you:

World's only spotless giraffe born at Tennessee zoo, public asked to help name her

I proposed naming her 'Stretch'.
I would name the giraffe SPOT. I know the giraffe doesn't have spots but they may be looking at this differently. I see the giraffe having one big spot, the brown spot.
Yeah, I saw that story yesterday. FIrst thing I thought of was that the poor baby giraffe caught sight of Marsha Blackburn and was so traumatized that being spotless was the result. Tragic.

What with hawks flying over and dropping snakes on peoples' arms and then turning the arm into hamburger with its razor beak in an effort to get the snake back, and this stingray thing, I'm beginning to think that the animals have finally had enough of humans getting in their way.

Massive alligator captured in Mississippi is a new state record. ‘Nightmare material’

Image
... While its length — 14 feet, 3 inches — is astonishing, so too is its mass. The alligator captured on the second day of Mississippi’s hunting season weighed 802.5 pounds with a belly girth of 66 inches, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks....
Hey Bubba, there's an incredible decades-old apex predator, the biggest Mississippi has ever seen and perhaps the biggest Mississippi ever will see . . . Let's keeel it.

The "Nightmare" is those rednecks. I hope they get harassed, or get snakes dropped on them.

Pine Marten vs Red Squirrel Yellowstone National Park

During our winter visit to Yellowstone National park we came across a pine marten hunting a red squirrel. The scene was captivating and the chase lasted over 45 minutes.
Wow, how special!
Spoiler:
The squirrel did make it.
I was rooting for the marten, but that's okay.

  I was thinking more of GoCubsGo's team. Cal's Teddy Bears, ACC carpetbaggers, 4-8 in 2022, don't really count.

That said, GO Golden Bears, shred Auburn (5-7 in 2022)! :P

Another contradiction:
The line is Auburn -6.5.
The ESPN Analytics Matchup Predictor is Cal 54.9%, Auburn 45.1%.
