Ah. Only 5 Repugs jumped ship. Any other Congress and it would be unremarkable to have a few nonconformists.

Maybe they saw it as the fool's errand it was and didn't want to waste time and energy on a bill that wasn't going to get past the Senate much less the White House.

The train wreck that is the Republican party is about to turn into a rudderless ship.

He'll probably get the speakership eventually, but he will also be diminished even more than he already is.

Zero legislation will be signed into law in the next two years amidst the government shutdowns which will accomplish nothing and eventually will reopen under some sort of continuing resolution that will ultimately cost the taxpayers more than not shutting down.

Then they'll blame the Democrats.

The outlook for 2024 is looking up.

Looks like this is holding up.

It's really trump's shutdown. He gave the marching orders on truth apparently. He wants the investigations defunded, which at this point wouldn't stop the prosecutions anyways.

He's once again doubling down on stupid. IIRC he was responsible for the longest shutdown ever with a Republican Congress for border wall funding and finally folded.

Then he lost the House.

Nixon the crook kicked off the lying and as he disgraced his party and was leaving, Wanniski apparently decided to pick-up where he left off. Beware the media. It has an agenda, and that is not to serve the people. They serve their owners and shareholders interests. Thank you for not being the mainstream press and pointing out that Reaganomics is evil.
