The homophobic thread :>

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Maybe I'm a bit dense because I'm unsure who you mean; but if you were speaking of me; I thank you.

All the opinions expressed here are our own, and not our spouses. If our spouses were posting here, then they would be fair game just as each of us are.

Vrede first went postal when I suggested his parents didn't beat his hind-end enough when he was growing up; then whined about my breaking "my own rule" about keeping family out of this forum. I then made a silly crack about his "Uncle Daddy", and all hell broke loose, despite his once saying that his parents were deceased and anything said about them didn't matter.

Vrede was miffed that nothing he could throw at me would pizz me off, until he discovered that vilifying my wife would be my weakness....and...he was correct.

Pick on me, call me all the names and adjectives you want.....but posting filthy remarks about my wife, or any one else's spouse, is uncalled for.

Ah, don't be so superstitious. Remarking on ones who don't participate in the discourse is theoretical, not personal. You need another perspective. Actually, remarking about dead folks to my mind is worse than remarking about live ones. It shows a lack of respect for the dead. I often sit up with the dead just to keep them company, but never speak disparagingly of them even though they wouldn't know if I did.

Well, if it weren't for Ray Stevens I wouldn't have to sit up with so many; he wimped out. The worst part is having to give all those rocking chairs a push now and then.

You took the bait like a starving bass and thus threw the door wide open for me."
That's why I was unsure who he was speaking of; didn't you notice?

"So whiny. Yep, you involved family and it was a violation of your own rule,..."
So...where did I post my list of rules for this forum?

"....one I adhered to for years out of respect for you." :bs: :bs: :bs:
:bs: :bs: that's pure bs and you know it. You've never had a measure of respect for anyone on this forum, friend or foe. You've belittled both.

"I've said nothing about Mrs.B that you haven't graphically said about others."
"Others", as in who? Who, in here, have I spoken "graphically" about? The only ones I've spoken "graphically" about are the homosexuals you so vehemently defend, and get your shorts all wadded when something, anything, is said negatively about them. I did go on to say that quite possibly you harbored a secret agenda as to why you go ballistic to the point of insulting my wife.

I don't know......his musical tastes aren't exactly the same as mine. And that's important to me, as well as a sense of trust and mutual respect.

Not the kind of head(board)banging you're seeking in a man?

Just don't get married, I won't be able to make fun of your spouse here. Those are the rules.
Hell, I got rid of the headboard and moved the bed out from the wall for that very reason.

Next time I get married (not gonna happen) its gotta be with a straight lady but our marriage has to be of the gay variety and not the straight kind.

Better clothes and grooming? Lady Gaga posts to The Music Thread?
I haven't quite worked out what a gay wedding between two straight people of the opposite sex would be like, but I guess nobody can know until they actually try it and report back to the rest if the world.

No way man it's gotta be lil' caesars pizza, Doritos, and bud light. That's when the party starts. When you're gonna do it you gotta do it big.

It's not like I actually eat lil Caesar's myself, or Doritos, but hey - live an let live for anybody else. But Bud Lite? Seriously? Why on earth would anybody, under any circumstances other than imminent death from dehydration, willingly drink that stuff? And if they insist on drinking it, why call it beer?

I think neoplacebo just fell in love.
Well, now, this is a first date....but I will say that dating only straight men is a hell of a lot less complicated.

Actually I was going to address that subject on the date; that stuff to me is like beer that's had more than a few ice cubes melted in it. I prefer something more "manly" myself.

You see, you've got the wrong philosophy when it comes to bud light. Think of it like this. When you want to get somewhere, you usually want to get there fast and cheap, right? If I wanted to go from SC to, say, California, I could drive a fancy car and get there in style in like a week which would cost me tons of money (since I don't have a fancy car), or I could pay for a coach seat on an airplane and get there in a few hours.

This same logic applies to bud light. When you want to get drunk and want to get there fast and cheap, you drink bud light. Bud light isn't about the journey, it's about the destination!

Well, JTA is one of my hominy boys even though I don't much care for that Richard Simmons avatar of his. It's good that our relationship is based on mutual hominy respect and that gets us through the hard times.
