One of many articles declaring the Fox News tree that burned up was artificial:

A man was charged with arson and other crimes Wednesday for setting fire to a 50-foot Christmas tree in front of Fox News headquarters in midtown Manhattan, police said.

The artificial tree outside of the News Corp. building that houses Fox News, The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post caught fire shortly after midnight, police said.

Could be, Idk now. I'm not hallucinating, the Faux & Friends video did say "Norway spruce" just like the article I linked that may have been based on it did. However, that phrase has now been removed from the video . Maybe the Faux & Friends lied, or were lied to. Maybe Faux Noise lied to everyone and got busted thanks to a mentally ill homeless firebug . . . or is he mentally ill?

Just from the photo of the thing, I immediately considered it a fake tree. There is no way in hell that the framework shown could be placed "inside" a real tree. It is conceivable that the "branches" affixed to the framework are/were real but after being cut off the tree and reinstalled on the framework you end up with at best a "hybrid" tree. I consider the bottom line is that virtually everything about Fox is fucked up, either initially or once whatever it is gets associated with Fox.

Based on the now removed Faux & Friends lie, I thought perhaps constructed outside of the tree in branch-disguised sections. Guess not.

If so, no wonder it burned so easily - no way to keep them moist like with a pan of water at the base.

I consider the bottom line is that virtually everything about Fox is fucked up, either initially or once whatever it is gets associated with Fox.

I'm mildly interested in whether Faux Noise will ever admit the lies - on Faux & Friends after the fire and by implication that it was a tree before the fire - but I don't have the patience to watch or research for something that would certainly be downplayed and brief if it even happens at all.

Cable news is getting another shakeup.

A week after CNN announced that Chris Cuomo had been terminated, longtime Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace has revealed that he is leaving the network. Wallace, 74, broke the news during the Dec. 12 broadcast, which will be his last appearance on the Sunday morning news program. A series of guest hosts will take over hosting duties until a permanent replacement is found.
