The homophobic thread :>

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Thinking and doing are two different things!
Yeah, that's true, but thinking about a couple of deer having sex in the back seat of a 69 Thunderbird and what sort of damage it would result in is the sort of entertainment you just can't find in normal everyday life. So far I've refused to consider the consequences of a couple of honey badgers having sex in the confines of a port a potty in 90 degree high humidity conditions when a human walks in on them.....prayer probably won't work.
In a port-potty? All you could say is "Ohhhhh sh*t! "

My ex wife would buy these god awful glitter soap ball things that she would bathe sometimes in. Glitter would get EVERYWHERE. There were many a days I rolled up into work all glittery. I felt FABULOUS!

"Coals to Newcastle."
That makes no sense. But then.......well, you know.
Selling, carrying, bringing, or taking coal(s) to Newcastle is an idiom of British origin describing a foolhardy or pointless action.

I've not been obsessing (or fantasizing) about you. Get over it.

I have plenty of glitter, but the glitter I have has nothing to do with the type of glitter in this thread.

I generally don't like glitter but have considered inventing glitter infused toilet paper for those who do.

Also a professor of psychology, psychiatry and education at the University of Rochester, and various other researchers reported in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.

New York Times: Homophobic? Maybe You’re Gay
WHY are political and religious figures who campaign against gay rights so often implicated in sexual encounters with same-sex partners?

In recent years, Ted Haggard, an evangelical leader who preached that homosexuality was a sin, resigned after a scandal involving a former male prostitute; Larry Craig, a United States senator who opposed including sexual orientation in hate-crime legislation, was arrested on suspicion of lewd conduct in a men’s bathroom; and Glenn Murphy Jr., a leader of the Young Republican National Convention and an opponent of same-sex marriage, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge after being accused of sexually assaulting another man.

One theory is that homosexual urges, when repressed out of shame or fear, can be expressed as homophobia. Freud famously called this process a “reaction formation” — the angry battle against the outward symbol of feelings that are inwardly being stifled. Even Mr. Haggard seemed to endorse this idea when, apologizing after his scandal for his anti-gay rhetoric, he said, “I think I was partially so vehement because of my own war.”

It’s a compelling theory — and now there is scientific reason to believe it....

Maybe rstrong is gay? But don't worry. We understand. You need to work these issues out for yourself.

My point, in my reply to Vrede, was that nothing mentioning "gay" was in my post. I merely asked the relevance of 'Coals to Newcastle' in regards to Bannination's post. Vrede started the "gay" crap.

You can post all the "scientific" and human failure junk you want; has nothing to do with me or my inner thoughts. I have never in my life had a desire to be involved with a man, don't plan to, and would blow my brains out with my .45 before I would let it happen.....so take your "scientific" data, reports, accusations, etc., and stick 'em where the sun don't shine. I'm certain Vrede would be happy to assist you.

BTW....most of those published "findings" were most likely written by those who were repressing their own queer tendencies, and in an attempt to cover up those feelings, they turned their accusing fingers towards those who openly oppose homosexuality.

Gee, that's strange.....I could'a swore this thread was called "the homophobic thread" and the subject matter is homosexuals.... :-0?> Let's see; starting with page 1...Banni begins the thread, and is followed by rstrong and Vrede; namely Vrede, who has the highest number of posts in the thread......and I'm "gay obsessed" you say. Yep, throw out those accusations...it's what you do best; don't disappoint anyone.

"and, as you know and rstrong posts, I've got science about extreme homophobes like you to back me up whereas the gay tolerant outnumber gays. You're still the gay-obsessed idiot here."
WoW! I feel so humbled...

Man Mr. B, let me tell you what. I'm the same way. I've never had the desire to be with a man. I'm 100% into ladies, but I don't know what it in the hell it is, but lemme just put it this way. If I were a super-hero my power would be the uncanny ability to attract the unwanted attentions of gay men even though I'm straight.
