That sucked. Feel a little sorry for Mize - he goes the whole season with only 12 walks, then gives up 4 in 5 innings.

Ouch, Best of 3 Series at least.
Huskies are also down 0-1, play again this evening.
Duke's up 1-0 in the 5th inning of their first game.

Weird, I must have misread. The Huskies won Game 1, lost this evening.
Duke is down 0-1 - really.
I kinda like MN, but it's down 0-1.
Not that I'm much of a fan, but UNC has advanced to the Best of 3 Championship Series, the only team so far to do so. O Really will be happy if he ever surfs to this thread.

I enjoy 2-3 live games a year, usually MLB Spring training and a Tourist or similar game. Maybe watch the end of the World Series. Not much more likely to follow college baseball than college soccer.

That's what the Alumni Association has said for years. But sure, in any given circumstance, if it's a choice of preferring a UNC win or loss, I'll prefer the win. But some events appeal to me more than others. College baseball is not one of the more.

The Huskies game was even crazier, total of 7 scored by the 2 teams in the 9th and 10th, also won on a walkoff. Advances to the Best of 3 Championship Series!
Duke crushed Texas Tech 11-2, Game 3 this afternoon.
OR St. has also advanced on the other side of the bracket. I kinda like them, not as much as OR or the Huskies. I'll root for them over there, then TX (if it advances today) and UNC.

Excellent play on their part. The runner on first put on a show by falling down and our pitcher fell for it. By the time he heard the catcher screaming, it was too late.
