"Endorse" is an interesting choice of words, because you clearly do support the companies that sell Chinese manufactured stuff, even if you may wish it was easier to get it US made. If one believes actions are louder than words, your continued purchase of Chinese goods is helping to enable the off-shoring practice. Yeah, yeah, I know - from a practical standpoint, one can't avoid Chinese products, but neither can one spend too much effort breast-beating on how they don't endorse manufacturing in China if they haven't taken all reasonable effort to avoid buying those products.

Nah, the government slaver flags are just low hanging fruit, an easy way to stick it in the face of Dylann Roof and the haters that corrupted him, and it's a positive change we can immediately effect to honor the victims before Americans' short attention span kicks in.
