Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Wait, what?

Perhaps it's an opportunity for him to move to the district he wants to represent.
Cristina Cawthorn (née Bayardelle) could easily toss him from one district to another, but I'm not sure which direction she chose. I would have preferred across the SC border.

I knew it would happen. This Useless Box is much slower than the original Useless Box. Many people thought the Useless Box could not possibly be made more useless, but they've all been proven wrong. The only thing now left to make it more useless in the next new model is if when the switch is flipped the box blows up.

Could teeny bopper wannabe be the reason the wife came unstuck?

It's also my understanding that fully automatic weapons are illegal for just plain citizens to own in the USA. Or maybe, just California. IDK. Also, it's my understanding that even the US Army doesn't hand out unlimited fire rifles etc. Those guns are limited to five shots for each trigger pull. Because soldiers were wasting too much ammo.

Nope. :x
Regulation

... In the United States, taxes and strict regulations affect the manufacture and sale of fully automatic firearms under the National Firearms Act of 1934 and the closing of the "machine gun" registry by the Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986 (only previously registered automatic weapons may be purchased). A prospective user must go through an application process administered by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which requires a federal tax payment of $200 and a thorough criminal background check. The tax payment buys a revenue stamp, which is the legal document allowing possession of an automatic firearm. The use of a gun trust to register with the ATF has become an increasingly popular method of acquisition and ownership of automatic firearms.

Not entirely.
Gun laws in California

... Possession of automatic firearms, and of short-barreled shotguns and rifles, is prohibited without a Dangerous Weapons Permit, that is received from the California Department of Justice pending a good reason for their possession such as: manufacture, repair, collecting in limited cases (pre-1990), movie prop guns or dealing to police/military....

Possession of automatic weapons or short-barreled shotguns or rifles prohibited without DOJ "Dangerous Weapons Permit"; permission rarely granted outside of film industry....

Enforcement of the ban varies throughout the state. Authorities in most urban areas will prosecute someone for merely possessing a prohibited firearm regardless of intent, whereas county sheriffs and local police in some rural counties have either refused to enforce the ban or to only prosecute those in possession of banned weapons who demonstrate malicious intent.

Thank you from me to you for this info.

I would argue that the fairly stringent US regulations mean that the average citizen cannot just walk into a legal gun shop and buy a fully automatic weapon. They have to jump through a number of hoops first. Not impossible, but some probably could not pass the "thorough criminal background check". What, by the way, is a "gun trust"?

As far as CA is concerned, I did hear of a recent relaxation of California laws regarding automatic weapons, but not sure of the details. Perhaps we could ask Alec Baldwin? :naughty:
